I used to have a Disney annual pass when I lived in Orlando. I think the best park is Animal Kingdom. The rides are new and you can walk around the zoo portion instead of waiting in lines all day. Downtown Orlando is always wild and Floridian fun. Lots of IT jobs in Orlando too. Any part of town that ends in Park, is where you want live if you move there. I grew up in Miami and unless you have serious money, I’d advise against moving there. Good Luck!
Check out Devil’s Den and Ginnie Springs if you want to take a quick day trip out of Orlando! Devil’s Den is a cave where you can go snorkeling and Ginnie Springs is a clear spring where you can relax on paddle-boards and swim with manatees! Kissimmee is also a cool town - I’d recommend checking it out!
If you plan on moving to Florida I hear Jacksonville is kinda full of crazy people. Overall Florida is a very beautiful place and everyone there is friendly from what I hear. I live in the south as well and we have a lot of friendly people. I wish we had places in Alabama like Florida does.
