Prejean - Sketch No. 1 for String Quartet Live

Many thanks for everyone involved in this house recital. With special thanks to Margaret Brouwer for the lessons and putting this together.
Originally this was a “homework assignment.” This piece is perhaps the
most varied in terms of rhythmic placement. There are two prevailing
overarching sections that serve as the glue for this piece, the first being a
simple four measure melody and the second being a mixed meter 7/8
part alternating between 3+2+2 and its reciprocal.
