Yea whenever I downshift and wanna go back to auto, all you have to do is push the shifter back into drive for a second then it’ll go back auto. And fun fact, if you’re driving in sport you can just push the shifter back to drive without clicking the button down and it won’t let you go past the drive gear, so you won’t accidentally go into neutral as long as you don’t click the button down
To answer your question about the car automatically upshifting . You gotta be in drive / normal mode for it to upshift . If you downshift in any other mode it won’t automatically upshift .
You can get both but you really need the passenger side as that the side more vapor oils go through. The drive side there isn’t any at all. Get both if you go boosted. I got both since I am supercharged.
