Interesting Dimension Builder tricks! I didn't know about some of those. This has really reminded me a lot of Magrathea from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. All those crazy custom planets being ordered by really bored rich people. If only you had a straw for that. #worldbuilder

Wait, so if the dimension you are entering is stored in that tablet, and you entered that dimension with the tablet in your inventory, wouldn't that break the universe? You have entered a dimensions with the dimension with you. An entire universe entered itself. :P
Reality is made of sterner stuff than you might think. It can handle a few minor paradoxes. That said, I'd avoid accidentally dropping the world in lava while you're in it.
Actually, programming can solve this quandary for you. The realized dimension tab isn't the dimension itself, otherwise each new dimension tab would be it's own new dimension. No, the tab is akin to what programmers call a pointer variable. A pointer variable 'points' to an object. Instead of storing a value, it stores the location of an object that you want to keep track of. Thus, when you look at a realized dimension tab, you are looking at something that describes the dimension. The best explanation I can come up with, is that lore-wise, all possible RF-powerable dimensions exist, but until you point a dimension builder their way and inject a butt-ton of power, you can't enter them. Not only that, but the dimension builder has to create an entrance point for you, i.e., a matter receiver platform. They are organized in higher dimensions by their qualities. If you have a dimension tab, the dimension builder simply looks through these higher dimensions until it comes up with the dimension that you described, powers it, creates an entrance point, and then, keeps it from collapsing by injecting power. Thus, the realized dimension tab only serves to identify the dimension you want to target. It provides a location in the multiverse where the dimension builder can pour power to keep a dimension accessible. It also reads some basic information about the dimension and can display it for your convenience. *coughs* Or at least, that's how I'd write the lore, if I were in charge.

I don't understand.. In your new Direwolf20 modpack when I create a new random dimension, the dimension maintance cost is 520 RF/tick, but you only have 20 RF/tick.. How?
GoTeRCZ I guess You randomly got some rather expensive stuff in your random one. Remember, dires World was just dirt, trees, grass and animals floating in the sky.
Is there a way to hide dimensions you don't want in your Dialing Device? I'm playing on a server and I'm seeing everyone's dimensions and I want to see just mine.

Not in general. However some features (like orbs) support multiple material dimlets

How do you make a void dimension
Use a void dimlet. I think that is one of the ones that is craftable using vanilla crafting tables.
