You’ve nailed it again James ! Can’t get over how your photography is so consistent ,even when dragging luggage or hunting for sign posts. Reflections you & Stuart share are invaluable - the aha moment hearing the benefits +++ of the Britannia Club. As your incredible detailed itinerary emerges ,the mantra you both voiced - “ Gotta be on the ball & Don’t assume anything” - makes all the more sense, and likely should be on a T-shirt. And finally that wonderful humour - the St. Pancras shuttle full of ( my words) “ Typhoid Marys” ,and enjoying the company of Queer French Revolutionaries …. real travel - terrific. 🇨🇦

Thanks so much for your enthusiastic feedback Ian. The smooth photography is a product of some of the amazing mini cameras you can get these days (mine is a DJ pocket 2) and not any great skill of mine. Plenty more videos to come, hope you enjoy travelling along with us.

So good to have a couple of Australians doing a travel video on TH-cam. Thoroughly enjoyed your journey and look forward to seeing the next one.

I think it's lovely that you read all of the comments and reply to each of them personally.

Ah what a trip! You could have done the train from Southampton to Central London pretty easily but I can understand just wanting a quick and straightforward transfer. I think St Pancras is a fab station - it's been renovated and given a new lease of life from the dirty, grimy terminus it used to be in the late 70s. Here's to your French adventure! PS - is this a sabbatical? it's a long old trip!

Thank you. We decided to go with the Cunard transfer despite the price to avoid the various connections if we had done it under our own steam. We're getting lazy! It's not a sabbatical, I am self employed and Stuart took a few extra weeks off. Long holidays - its an Australian thing - it takes so long to get anywhere you want to make it worth the trip.

@@cruisingandsnoozing1479 I understand the holiday thing - I'm English and live near London - I've been to Australia a few times and you need to go for at least 3 weeks to make it worth the travel - I look forward to the next instalment!
