It’s bigger than Trump at this point. He might be the focus, but it’s really a movement of the people to fix things that have gotten out of hand under this administration. There are so many things going wrong now and we need to bring balance to the force. I would vote for the Republican candidate anyway if he was forced to drop out.

Frankly if Donald Trump was convicted on these charges, every office holder in DC should have their finances investigated. Nobody’s hands are clean and that’s the issue here. They want to pick and choose who to go after to serve liberal interests which is extremely dangerous.

Should he drop out? No. If there were a better candidate to replace him then yes but there isn’t one at this time. It’s too late in the game for either side.
Would I vote for a convicted felon? That truly depends on the circumstances. It’s sad that we, as a nation, have come to this.
I’m neither a Trump or Biden supporter. I think Trump’s main appeal is he’s truly an outsider. BOTH parties establishment hate him. If the Republicans in power truly were behind him….none of what happened while he was in office nor what’s happened since would have gone down. The fact they didn’t is one of the reasons so many support him…he’s against the establishment (that’s what he claims).

I'm a 64 year old Canadian so what happens doesn't matter to me. I have watched politics my whole life. I prefer the American political system to any other as it was attempted to be as fully thought out as possible. It should have a few tweaks but that's for another time. Allowing a convicted felon to run is something that I believe was thought of because of just this happening. The side in power is afraid the one running might win? Convict them of anything. It doesn't matter what it is, just make sure that it's a felony so they can't run. So that's why it's allowed. RFK basically said what I've said. Instead of only attacking Trump, point out the problems and tell people how you and your administration plan to fix these problems. The democrats have ruined the country and have no intention let alone any plans for fixing things. In my opinion they aren't even worthy of running. As far as the opinion of liking your President to be a 'person of honor' etc. To me, that's just a bonus. If they are perfect or close to it, fantastic. If they are a horrible person, I don't care as long as they can run the country in a fashion where we can all feel safe. Where we want for little because we find ourselves with more money to keep or even enough jobs in order to make some money. It doesn't matter how awful a person is, you don't have to have them over to your home for dinner or at your party with a lampshade on their head to keep you happy. You need your country basically run like a business, if not it begins to cave in. Just take a look at our countries at the moment and how and why they're falling apart and most people are unhappy. As far as countries not letting him in with a record, what country seriously wouldn't let the President of the United States in. Look at all the entertainers who have full pages of convictions freely travelling the world with the least of problems getting in. I'm Canadian. I admire the United States and love the constitution and the way in which the rights were set up as well as the system of government (with a few exceptions). I'm absolutely appalled at the way this trial was conducted. It's obvious that if he hadn't run for President that none of these charges would have been brought against him. To be honest, I've never felt such disdain for the United States until this happened. Because it can happen to anyone. The democrats are too stupid to realize that they can easily be found in the same position one day. But I still admire the American people. The citizens are now at the mercy of the slimiest people who unfortunately are in positions of power. God bless you all, your government certainly won't.

First let me say I don't want Trump or Biden. I wish they'd both just go peacefully so we can have alternative choices. That being said, I do think a convicted felon should be allowed to run. There are a lot of different kinds of felonies. Martha Stewart is a convicted felon, and there's a world of difference between a crime like hers and a serial murderer, and I think even the craziest Americans can generally be trusted to not vote for a serial murderer. I'll also highlight something that someone else in the comments pointed out: that the founding fathers probably allowed for a felon to run for exactly cases like this where the "felony" is politically motivated. Rather than stop someone from running because of a sham trial, you fight that nonsense by allowing them to run.

The statute of limitations had expired. They paused the limitations, raised it from a misdemeanor to a class E felony. The premise behind the charge stems from payments to two women who agreed to payments to keep secret and affair which isn’t a crime, but rather a question of morality. They said it was a campaign finance violation because he didn’t declare it as a business expense. Why would he need to declare something like that as a business expense. They went on to say that it was election interference because if the story had came out it would have impacted the election outcome. Y’all talking about the same guy that said “I could shoot someone in the middle of time square and they’d still vote for me” which that statement is way more egregious than news of an affair. I don’t know who these people think they’re fooling because this was all done in an election year. We aren’t sleeping, we see what’s going on.

If the candidates are qualified by law to run, then it is up to the citizens to determine their electoral fate. As you apply the label "convicted felon" for a crime that you are unable to name, you simultaneously use the term "dog whistle" to apply your imagination in the absence of concern for what was actually said. No, he should not withdraw. Your question "Should a convict be elected President?" This is the wrong question and is exactly the question the Biden Administration wants you to be distracted with. If the "conviction" question is bothering you so much, then you should first look at HOW the criminal case was conducted and did Trump really receive a fair trial. He wasn't convicted based on evidence. If the conviction is clearly BS, then the people should decide in the voting booth. (By the way, what if we used that same exact logic with Mandela in South Africa back in the 1980's?)

When you ask anyone what the crime was, they can't tell you. What really happened was a misdemeanor, they said what happened was to hide another crime, but they never gave evidence of that hidden crime. Nobody knows what it is, according to the US constitution the defense and the jury need to be told what the crime is. The judge didn't allow experts to explain why it wasn't a crime. Not to mention that the judge told the jury that their conclusion didn't have to be unanimous, which also is unconstitutional, but on top of that, he told them they just had to feel he was guilty even if they didn't know what crime...
Point is nobody knows what crime he has been convicted for, this says it all, under the left and this is everywhere in the world, you slowly fall into an totalitairian banana republic. If this can happen to a former president this can happen to everyone who doesn't speak the preferred opinion.

@ThisBahamianGyal I think you are spot on in so many ways, but I would say in this one you are asking the wrong questions and ignoring some pretty big red flags on both sides of the political isles. Independents aren't offering any better at this point, so we need to view this with the lens of who's better at the job. Both of the people running are not good people, but criticism in the media and being an insensitive prig to an opponent is not equal to weaponizing the law for political gain, especially when there is evidence of far more sinister acts such as business ties to the country you provide aid for, hard drugs in the White House, incoherent speeches and possession of classified documents you should not have. Ignoring, facts and supporting a party but not viewing how their policies work out is not viable. That's how we end up with millions dead on the whim of power. I don't agree with that statement about b*llets and agree with your removal of it. However, there is a real fear that if weaponizing law becomes the nature of politics, then we are screwed no matter who is in the White House.

We should only hope to be more like the people or persons that we're asking to be our political and moral representatives! We shouldn't want someone who genuinely feels like he/she would stoop to any level for success! This case against him is obviously to defame him but, it'll definitely backfire because it seems that most people are willing to hide their morals for fear of being ridiculed but will support just to go along! We don't seem to have any expectations of our leaders to represent morally or respectfully!!!

Hi Rogan great video I was on pin at first however,I realized that you're not bias so I remain watching I'm happy to say if the shoe was on the other feet I would say he'll no I think he should do the honorable thing and get out the race because the things Mr trump is saying if he wins is frightening he doesn't care now he's playing the victim, let someone else run

I think he is being politically persecuted, but I am thinking about the long-term and what it means to have a president who is a felon. I think people really need to consider the ramifications of that. If he won his appeal, I would hold a different viewpoint. Thanks for watching! 🖤

@@ThisBahamianGyal If Trump dropped and won his appeal because of the serious abuses of the law that professor Alan Dershowitz made, what would you think of your opinion that the Candidate of a major party drop out? Wouldn't that be bad for the country? An Innocent man forced out because of a kangaroo trial?

To be honest both trump and Biden should be replaced, put somebody who is physically and mentally stable and competent.

How mentally stable was Trump the 1st time? No wars, economic prosperity and abundance, etc. Ok, weak minded, lazy people didn't like him because he preferred they work for a living.

While I agree with many of the sentiments sympathetic with Trump on this verdict, it should be even more scary the hail and brimstones Trump and his crew perhaps have in store for the Democrats. And this is where things really begin to fall apart. The major concern should be for the system itself. If it hasn't fallen, it is falling!
