In this video we make a experiment between TDA2030 and TDA2050 sound IC. We test the sound quality of this sound IC make amplifier circuit.
📌 The main difference between these sound IC is that, tda2050 can take a bit higher voltage and that should be maximum 2*25v (DC) . We recommend to use 2*18v (DC).
These all are Class - AB amplifier circuit.
To make these amplifier circuit we use only DC-12v power supply.
These both are very powerful and professional sound IC.

Well, IC 2030a is definitely more efficient at low voltages. IC 2050 is for double voltage of 25 volts, in which case it needs at least 4 amps of power supply. In this case, IC 2050 has less performance and distortion and offers higher power. This circuit, with its output of two output amplifier transistors, will definitely drive and drive a larger driver.
You conect single supply on dual supply circuit dude.

At 12V both ICs will have high distortion figures due to clipping. By increasing the supply voltage, say around 20V, the audio quality will be better with less distortion.

circuit design and parts are different.
For tda2030 i use PCB circuit.
