Yes, it did lasted more than 1.5 years.. I just rotate the minute and hour hand in case of time change.. I donot take out the machine from wall for that .. Have a nice day ahead.

How to change battery of wall sticked clock?
I have this clock. Mine has a battery and mechanism which has a disc which covers the back of the battery-the thing is how do I fix it to the wall?it just doesn't work with the disc covering the back! I noticed your battery mechanism does not have a back covering-should I leave it off?
Before fixing on the wall.. Lay it on floor with back panel open, batteries inserted and minute/hour hands attached.. See if it works like that.. If it does then you can surely leave back cover open

Install it in a place where direct air does not hit it.
