Idk wat movie ya'll watching but scott is not weak he is the strongest alpha in the move he always fine a ways to protect his friends and thr innocent no other apha are person would do r go through all that he has been through most ppl would give up r take the easy way out hr has a good heart and refuse to take a life even if the person is evil that is not weak that takes courage and strength , if scott was to kill he wouldnt be a true apha he would just be another monster who kills for power r decides to take the easy way out there wouldnt be anything special about him , then the whole message and concept of the movie would be totally differet

i hate how scott is by far the weakest alpha
But it makes sense. Not only is he younger and less experienced he's also a lot more peaceful. Personality and experience aside other alpha's steal the spark from the previous Alpha adding it to their own. Scott didn't steal the spark so no extra boost. As well as you gain strength and speed from your pack. His pack involves 2 human physical levels (lydia and stiles) so having a multispecies pack holds him back too. The only true pack members that could boost his strength would be malia and Liam compared to other packs that would have 3-4 werewolf members.
He is powerful that's why he became alpha
