I just purchased a Demon XP kart with a KT100S engine, your videos are incredibly informative for someone like myself who has zero experience at all in karting. Thankyou! Ill be watching all of them.
I stumbled upon your channel a few weeks ago and decided to check it out. I’ve been finding out some interesting info. I didn’t know what kind of power plants you guys run on those racing karts until recently. The carb you’re talking about now reminds me of those old school Tillotson carbs we used to run on our snowmobiles back in the seventy’s. Kind of triggered a few memories…lol. Very cool and informative videos. I recently subscribed to check out more videos/info. Keep up the great work!
hello, if you talk about tempature, do you mean degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit? I'm from germany and i don't know if your'e even use "degrees" before Fahrenheit.
John is generally always happy to help. If you want to ask him about your kart just stop by the shop or give him a call. Phone number is a available online.
Why don't you talk about pop off pressures and procedures that are actual worth watching. This is like every other video that explains nothing. No wonder you get very little views. Get into the technical and your channel will grow. Unless you don't know?

Hello just purchased my first gokart. It's a grand prix chassis with a KT100 engine. I have a few questions if you can spare some time please.
John is generally always happy to help. If you want to ask him about your kart just stop by the shop or give him a call. Phone number is a available online.
Do I need a new carb if the gas is not traveling from the tank to the carb?
Probably not. Maybe just a rebuild, but check to make sure you have the pulse tube connected properly.
Back in the mid 1970 if
We ran head temp 400 degrees, you would stick a kt100. We ran our
Engine 375 degrees was
the max. What is differant
Today.
The newer heads are die cast instead of sand cast. They read about 100 degrees hotter.
Hope this helps.
It should be noted these carb settings would be for a pipe and not a can
A true perfectionist

You got questions about that?
