Man, I spent this entire Monday working on this, and I'm very happy wih the final result! I may take a break from covering/arranging the other songs, but I just had to do a day 0 arrange, just like with Mike's theme.
It was very hard to find a good match for this theme, heck, if you think about it I might be 'cheating' because I used Virtual Electric, when the base (Futatsuiwa from Sado) doesn't use it, but imo it fits it really nice, and I had to experiment a little more with the mixing, which is alright. Anyways, I hope you enjoy Momoyo Himemushi's theme from Unconnected Marketeers in the style of Ten Desires!
I'll probably be thinking about uploading twice a month from now on. I'm just testing for now, but I hope you like the "new" format with the "3D" background!

really made me realize how unique ten desires' soundfont is, even though zun has since used more trance/techno elements in recent games as well
I love TD's style for that sole reason - it's very techno-like while also having that ZUN style feel, it's quite a unique change compared to the previous Touhou games from before 12.8
TD hits different
I love the energy that her theme has. It's even more noticable when you use different soundfonts and it still works just as well.

This is something I keep coming back to. The spirit world version is under-appreciated, it’s SO catchy. I love Ten Desire’s bouncy bass, you captured the jumpiness flawlessly.

I essentially did all the work as soon as I selected the song I wanted to arrange - first I chose this song, then I chose the base track, then came transcription and arrangement from scratch. The rest is just making sure it's mixed well, video editing, etc.
