Columbine Ford in Rifle CO saved us when our Ford f250 stuttered out on us on a trip. We tried to get into the Ford dealer in Grand Junction, where we were, but they were disdainful and said that they couldn't get to us for 2 weeks. Columbine Ford Service were WONDERFUL to us. We were towing a trailer at the time, and so we limped slowly from Grand Junction to Rifle, and then the state park squeezed us in to put our trailer there when we explained our predicament. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to Columbine Ford and the state park. Now buying a Beyond RV. Glad that they took care of you, and I'm not surprised.
Thanks for the info on the Ford Pass App. It took me a couple of days, but finally got it to work. This Oil change is the gold standard for all Ford places, it should be required for all the Ford Service locations. Safe travels and thanks again for sharing.
That video they made should be an industry standard. Every dealership should do one. It didn’t take him that long but you can be assured your getting a good, full inspection and not just someone checking off boxes.
Great video! Last time we took our BMW in for oil change and battery replacement we received a video as well and really appreciated it. Hope more dealerships will do this.
Wow! A video walk through should be standard at least for verification of services. I paid $71.00 yesterday for an oil change on my Chrysler Town and country (we'll be picking up our STO this week, sweepstakes winners).
Wow, what a great dealership. They were able to safely lift and rotate tires. $55.00 seems unheard of and the personalized video was was the icing on the cake.
I have owned 3 new Ford vehicles in my life (2 Explorers and an Edge) all purchased new from reputable dealerships and have NEVER had such a thorough and comprehensive oil change/inspection done on my vehicles. I'm in Dallas and it kinda' makes me want to run up to Rifle to get my next Ford! Well done Columbine Ford!!
Wow I too was impressed with your service at that Ford Dealer! I will be needing an oil change when I hit the East coast in or around Philadelphia/Delaware/New Jersey area, so if anyone has had this good of an experience with a Ford Dealer in that area please let me know!
Thanks so much for sharing this video. I haven't bought a class B RV yet but I've been curious about how to get one serviced. Nice to know that a regular dealership can do it and that I won't have to go to an RV dealership.
The only thing that I don't like about dealer oil changes is that they do not use FULL Synthetic on vehicles with Turbo equipped engines. I also prefer to do the first oil change at 3000 miles not 5000. miles...just a quirk of mine! Here is why I hate synthetic blends; they never state what % is synthetic and "Technically" if it has 2% synthetic it is a synthetic blend... I am just saying! Ask the dealer what it costs to replace a turbo that has failed; better yet ask how much to replace both of them? I worked for TRW when they were developing turbos. Ask Audi why the warrantee is void if you use anything other than full synthetic in a turbo equipped engine? One more thing; did they fill the oil filter with oil before installing it? If not that engine ran dry for how many seconds??? Would you run your engine for 20 or 30 seconds with an empty crankcase? well you just did if that filter was not pre-filled!
I would be a bit uncomfortable going there if I had more than 25,000 miles on my vehicle. They could be a little pushy I'm sure, if you had some high mileage on that.
I am amazed at the thoroughness of this service. Great info.
Thx for watching Pamela!

Me too! Thx for watching!
That inspection video is Awesome! Best advertisement I’ve ever seen for a dealership.
Wow, that’s a first. I have never had a video from any dealer oil change😮. Thanks for sharing.

WOW! That is one impressive Ford QuickLane experience. Thanks for sharing!
No Decaf? That's a problem.🤣
Be safe and good luck to you.
Very impressive Ford dealer. Wish they were all like that. Thank you for the video.
Glad you liked it. Thx for watching.
Right on you two - happy travels :)

I agree! Will definitely use them again when we’re in the area.

Seatbelts should be fastened and tray tables should be in the upright position. Enjoy your oil change.
Wow. That is so thorough.
Wow very impressed 🥰

That cool that they video trapped the inspection.
My local ford dealer does a video of the work they do.
What a contrast to the horrible service we are currently experiencing from Langdale Ford in Valdosta Georgia!
Interesting… the oil minder indicated an oil change that early.
There was no pop up reminder. We opted to have it done at 5k based on others recos.
I thought the warranty would have repaired the boot at no cost with only 5k miles.
What is the real world gas mileage on the coachman beyond
14-18 mpg

They were great. Very trustworthy.
