대전 중앙시장은 대전역 바로 건너편에 있어 기차여행을 하는 사람들이 방문하기 좋으며, 다양한 볼거리와 먹거리를 즐길 수 있습니다. 경상도와 전라도를 잇는 도매시장의 역할을 해왔기에 시장의 규모도 중부권 최대로 전통시장답게 30년 넘게 자리를 지킨 가게들이 많습니다. 중앙시장 내엔 테마거리가 조성되어 있는데, 온통 새것에 익숙해져버리는 시대에 추억이 묻어나는 정겨운 헌책방 거리, 대전의 바다 역할을 했던 생선골목, 과거 전통 자기부터 최신 디자인까지 다양한 그릇도매 거리, 온갖 반짝이는 것들의 총집합 액세서리거리, 최고의 가성비를 자랑하는 홈인테리어 거리, 지난 세월의 맛을 느낄 수 있는 맛집명소 먹자골목 등 다채롭습니다. 또한 시장이 넓은 만큼 각 권역마다 역으로 표시를 해서 사람들이 원하는 곳을 찾기 쉽도록 해 놓았습니다.
Daejeon Jungang Market is just across from Daejeon Station, so it is good for people traveling by train to visit, and you can enjoy various things to see and eat. Since it has played a role as a wholesale market connecting Gyeongsang Province and Jeolla Province, there are many stores that have been in place for more than 30 years as a traditional market with the largest scale in the central region. Inside the Joongang Market, there is a theme street, a friendly used bookstore street filled with memories in the era of getting used to new things, a fish street that served as the sea of Daejeon, a variety of bowl wholesale streets from the past traditional porcelain to the latest designs, There are a variety of things including accessory streets, home interior streets that boast the best cost-effectiveness, and gourmet spots and food alleys where you can feel the taste of the past. In addition, as the market is wide, each area is marked with a station to make it easier for people to find the place they want.
