I have always wondered that why people are hating bands because they decided to change their musical approach? After all most of time it's up to bands themselves who WANT to change their style.
Not saying their newer music is not good, but "Terror Hungry" was why I fell in love this band! I thought when I saw these teenage kids with Jackson guitars and high top kicks...I thought these guys were gonna be a reincarnation of the 80's-90's scene!! Too bad that died off literally right after their 2nd album 😪
I feel ya they went from visceral harsh 80s Thrash sound to a over produced metal band with an easier sound to digest for the majority of people, sounds like two different bands if you compare 🙁
LS and Ultra Violence showed that a few bills are more than enough to betray their fans and their own principles. Lost Society was successful because of its thrash era. If they had started playing what they do now, no one would have noticed them and they would have been just another band.
It's sad to see more bands falling into this, I used to be a big fan of dust bolt when I was a pre teen, but now they are literally going to the same path as LS😢

This is not a band that needed to reinvent themselves. What they were doing was really good. Changing gears like this is not genuine, and you can see that in the recent album's performances. Nobody give a shit about them. The only reason a few of the songs have decent streams is because they got on playlists, which aren't organic and can't really be used to measure success.
Damn. They used to be the greatest new thrash band 10 years ago. Now they sound like any other boring mainstream band and became what they used to hate.
People just need to realize Samy is a little emo boy like the rest of us now, if you're mad they stopped making thrash you can blast fast loud death in your room while crying 😘
