Its nice to hear that. I do like to keep it simple. I still have my old 500 series humminbird fish finder. I will admit though, I might finally upgrade to a helix 9 fish finder next spring. I 'm pretty good at finding the fish in the shallow weedy waters, but when it comes to fishing deeper parts of the lake, I need a little help. Having a little better fish finder will help me fish for walleye's and other fish that tend to be in deeper waters.
@@GoMidwestFishing I love my Helix 7. Make sure you get side imaging. It's cool to see the structure when driving around the lake. I fish weed edges and trees for walleye. Especially in May and June.
Its hard to get mad at the kids when they get snagged, because its not like I never get snagged, but it does put an end to that fishing spot real quick.
I'm still waiting for Dennis to say something about my comment. He probably didn't even watch it. When we are running equipment from the 1960's, it pays to know a thing or two about fixing things... kind of like being a farmer. Thanks Dave.
Fun video and always fun to see Reed come along. Like to see what you’re using can you talk more about what you are using and how ? Thanks From Wisconsin
Your right, I should talk more about the baits we use. I'm going to try to add that into my future videos. I now have a mic system with 3 mics, so we can start hearing the fun stuff Reed says too. Thanks Robert.
So that was Reggie's boat, and since he usually fishes in my boat, he has no need to take his own out. This lake was close to his house, so we thought why not take his boat instead. That motor is a 1968, and has ran great ever since we bought it off craigslist. This was the first repair we've made to it. He might take it out once every year or two, and it always starts right up!
Beautiful lake 👍🏻👍🏻
I like that you are just a basic fisherman. No fancy electronics. Just love fishing. Nice videos as always.

I get reminded of how beautiful the north gets with the fall colors and some of the species that I don't catch anymore!!😎🎣
Well come up here anytime, and I will get you on the water. Thanks Wes.
Yes sir, totally agree when a kid gets snugged nobody can get to fishing. LOL! As always great job and amazing video my Man!

Hi Rande! A great day full of memories! That pike was the skiniest pike we have ever seen. Great footage of the eagles! Hope you have a great weekend.
Thanks P & J. I love the fall colors on the lake.
Mechanics and fishermen…quite the resumes 😁 Poor Dennis, getting a bad rap for his advice. Looked like fun 👍

Looks like a fun lake and great views. May not be huge fish but fun fishing for sure and Reed had a blast! ..And Reggies boat ran!! Bonus!!
That motor has been incredible. It runs maybe once a year and always starts right up, and its over 50 years old!
you always look like you all have fun
Its hard not to have fun when you are fishing!
Great show man I'm glad you guys didn't get stranded out there!
Thanks man. If we did get stranded, it wouldn't be the first time!
Great video! Our family has a place on Red Cedar and I have fished Hemlock many times for Northerns and Large mouth.
That's awesome. I use to ice fish Red Cedar as a kid. Its on the list of lakes I need to get back to and make a video on.
@ great! Find all the good spots on Red Cedar and make your video. Then I’ll know where to fish.😂😉

That pike was a beanstalk. Good thing the boat got working. Why was it out of the water so long and what made you decide to use it that day?

That was a skinny pike you should have shoved a small bluegill in its mouth when you released it 😅 hope you all had a great Thanksgiving 🦃
I really wanted to feed it! I didn't have anything in the boat to give it.
Great stuff Rande! We'd like to invite you to our HQ in Big Bend Wisconsin when you make your way down into southeastern Wisconsin!
Thanks Cody. Hopefully we will see you soon.
That looks like a weight watchers pike Reggie lol
That poor guy, I really wanted to feed him before releasing him. He must have been really bad at catching food because the next pike was plenty fat.
