Love the fact that the SI commercial at 13:23 uses the song from Big Bill Hell's cars (Craig Palmer - Deadlines). Also a commonly used song in monster truck videos!
"The wildest thing I've ever seen ridden on or been around in my life." Quote from Mike Gallaway at a later event talking about the OBS train. It is simply the craziest vehicle I have ever seen, but damn it is so good.
Such a cool and unique concept that could only really exist during this period in the sport. Easily the most horrendously unsafe monster truck/tank that has probably ever existed. How or why anybody let him race that thing, even back then, is a mystery to me.
Allen still does some pulls in Kentucky, and he still owns every single Orange Blossom Special truck (the 4wd, the classic 1937 Chevy, the Ranger and the Midnight Express). Each still look exactly like they did in their prime, not one piece of rust on them.
The last I heard it is in Montana or another state in that area. It was touring with a circus pulling some floats. Allen and his crew are actually searching for it and hope to find it, buy it back, and restore it to what you see here. The blown 510 cu. in. Chevy engine, the original colors, everything from the cow catcher to the cockpit. He wants his entire fleet back.
I love that OBL Tank Tran that Tran was Awesome in its Days and it will be again Some Day Mark my Word on this. and Track Attack man what can I Say Ernie was awesome in that Fast Track I wood love nothing more than to see Bigfoot fastrax Track good at it With Track Attack again and orange blossom and full Metal jacket and Car killer and Battle Cat Tank it would be Awesome.
