Meet Mustafa Zazai, a professional footballer originally from Afghanistan But was raised in Germany and has represented his country.
He has played for big clubs in northern Germany, as well as in Thailand, Malaysia, and Cambodia. Currently, he is a business owner in Cambodia. In this conversation, he discusses the challenges of playing football in Asia compared to Europe, why he moved to Cambodia, his experiences as a pro footballer in Cambodia, and his message to the Cambodian people.

As a Khmer, he’s right we have timing problems 😂. I’m always late to the point my bosses stop talking abt it already.

very interesting, an afghan living and playing football in cambodia. real cool.
in terms of cambodian football, cambodia needs a nutrition program for players so that they grow taller and bigger. you need milk, iodine, protein, calcium, vitamin b in the diet to grow

I admire your host as a best foreign podcast rn. You did a good job brother! No awful side, real talk like talking in private without camera, good questions, good impressions, what a humble scene! We need this last long.

Football brings people together. Your podcast is very interesting, and the questions are important for learning more about foreigners' experiences in Cambodia and Southeast Asia.

Fantastic interview. Great to have a perspective from a professional football player on the sport in general. Will support Mustafas business when visiting the kingdom. All the best.
