I was so close to visiting Japan at one point. I'm a Motion Capture actor and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. That would've been a real dream come true to work in Japan.
I'm sorry to hear that! I can totally understand why you feel disappointed. I hope you're able to achieve better opportunities like that in the future! I'm rooting for you :)
I never thought about what it would be like to attend and anime convention in Japan as a foreigner, so this was an interesting watch! :D Thanks for taking a video!
Hello I will be going to the Anime Japan 2024, you got any tips for me? Also I want to go to the red stage for a panel, did you figure out how to get their and did you have to buy a separate ticket for the red stage?
It was lottery based and you had to fill in a form on their website for each stage you want to participate for the lottery. Also when you purchased the ticked you had to select the one with access to the lottery. They have specific windows of time for the form submission and announced the winners a few weeks ago.
This was a nice video. Thank you. I'm looking forward to going in 2026. Hopefully by then, news of a new season/movie for Made In Abyss will prompt a showing at the con. It would be the one thing I would be looking forward to the most.
It doesn't look that crowded compare to anime expo in los angeles, thank you for showing us what it looks like oversea. I like to visit their anime expo one day.
I'm planning a trip to Japan next and saw this event, I was wondering if you knew if they had any voice actors that were doing any signings and or autographs at the event
Hey!! I know that there were popular voice actors and actresses there, but I’m not sure if they were giving out any autographs. Regardless, I hope you have a wonderful trip to Japan. ☺️
YO!!!! Thank you for shooting the video! Can I ask some questions? 1. How does it compare to anime expo in LA? (I just went there this year, but not sure if this is just as good) 2. Is it easy for english speakers to go around as well?
I’ve been to a couple anime conventions and some big ones! I’ve been to a diffrent country one and sometimes they do English speaking not everyone but a majority of English speakers are there and also!

8:19 That's Nier: Automata, based on a video game by the same name (the music is very good, and they use it in the anime as well).
