  • A tour of the Moonlight Android TV app using a game that is installed on my Windows desktop computer to stream the game from the computer to the desktop. A game stream compatible nvidia card is needed in the desktop computer and moonlight must be installed on the Android device

For those who have steam on their gaming pc, Valve has released Steam Link app for android tv to stream gaming from the PC to any android device. This does not require an Nvidia GTX graphics card like Moonlight does. I do, however, find that Moonlight has better compression and latency.

I tried this on my Sony Bravia 4k With android , the game loaded but was incredibly choppy and unplayable - not sure why - possibly the Mediatek chipset . Worked perfect on a android with a Qualcomm CPU
