@@PHLYLM supposed to work reliably not randomly. You can only counter if you’re in specific stages of YOUR attack which really makes no sense. You’re supposed to be able to counter when the enemy attacks are just about to land regardless of your stage of attacking. Extremely poor game design since the timing of your window to counter in your specific stage of attack will only line up with the enemy attacks randomly and cannot be planned 100% reliably. It’s a chance system which is silly. Parries and counters aren’t supposed to be randomly possibly 🤣 It’s supposed to be like in Batman where your you can 100% counter just before the attack lands no questions asked
