@@byronmills5952 I think you mean 33min 18secs for the second one ("a black look"), but the point is well made in any case. These were unscripted remarks by Jack Smethurst, and therefore his own spontaneous thoughts. It was always apparent that he found playing the racist in Love Thy Neighbour sat very comfortably with him, and here he was, still exploiting that image for easy laughs.
They missed a question - how did the Indian guy know the stewardess's schedule? Hit that and they could have guessed at something. Only the first step but at least I caught that one.
Watching this one here as my dvd disc 2 of series 3 won't play!
You're welcome to download it to complete your collection. 🎂 🥳
Send the DVD back and ask for a refund.
I got a refund
@@rebeccacohen5654 Glad you got a refund, some advice never buy anything off Ebay.

Thanks for the upload, enjoyed this very much here looking for Frank Thornton's work but I also enjoy a good whodunnit.
Glad you enjoyed it
34:27 is priceless to fans of "Are You Being Served?"
Thanks for these, loving the episodes, a really good glimpse of 70s tv - dodgy shirts, smoking on camera, casual racism etc
You're welcome
And reading out a young female audience member's full address!
What casual racism?
@@MrDustpileJack Smethurst 25min 39secs and 38min 39secs.

Mary Tamm and Jon Pertwee. If you don’t see the connection ...
Dr Who and Romana mk1
Aaah. The lovely Mary Tamm…
That's Frank Thorton who played Captain Steven Peacock on Are You Being Served? who played as Air Port Customs Officer.
I remember Mary Tamm was Ramana One on Doctor Who with Tom Baker.
Thanks
You're welcome
Mr Austin was played by the actor who played the Verger in Dad's Army.
Tuesday follows Monday I can also state the obvious
Captain Peacock before he landed his retail job
This was 3 years after he started his role as Capt. Peacock. No criticism intended.
Anouska Hempel totally beautiful
Never knew Jack Smethurst was so posh
Captain Peacock
