On Diamond Raider the reason the dollar amounts are on the fifth reel is so if you have other dollar figures on reels 3 & 4 you can win a bonus.

There are different versions of the Diamond Raider games, and they are all very exciting yet very frustrating. Once you hit the 3 reels of the money symbols, it goes up into a "bank" at the top. You respin, if you get another money symbol it adds to the bank. You want to hit "collect" in order to get that amount in your bank. But, if you hit "reset", you bank goes back to the original amount that you hit the first time. You can spin and spin and spin, add and add and add, but you could have $1,000 in your bank, never hit collect and hit "End" and you lose it all. That's why it is exciting yet frustrating.
