I've just ordered the rx 6600 at $189 one of the lowest prices so I don't regret at all, thinking about pair the graphic card with a r 5 5600 that's currently $83 bucks on amazon or either go with an $130 R 7 5700x that's currently on promo, what you'all think its better, I've checked that there's a minor bottleneck with the R7 2700x using this graphic but will age better

    • @SandwichTech_
      @SandwichTech_  หลายเดือนก่อน

The 5600 is good. Are you buying brand new?

    • @jdanielgomez6026
      @jdanielgomez6026 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Yes brand new both trough amazon, actually now the 5600 is on 107 and the 5600x at 105 due season deals. The R7 5700X still on 130 bucks sorry it was the 5700x the one I was talking about not the 2700x

    • @SandwichTech_
      @SandwichTech_  หลายเดือนก่อน

@@jdanielgomez6026 I would go with the 5600x and maybe use the extra cash on more storage or ram. Surprisingly 5600x is $3 cheaper than the 5600.

Try these tips for better fps or at least to make it more stable (BTW many pro players like reet, clix, bucke, peterbot have been experiencing stutters and drops despite having like the best cpu's and gpus, so its happening to everybody) Fortnite knows there's a stutter issue right now so they are working on an update to fix the stutter problems. so try dx12 if its still bad
      Bios/UEFN Settings
      1. Enable XMP/DOCP (This will make the ram run at a faster frequency which can boost fps)
      2. Enable 4G Decoding
      3. Enable Resize Bar
      4. Set your cpu cooler to turbo if your getting bad temps while gaming. Bad temps can cause performance loss
      5. If you constantly crash I recommend updating your motherboard BIOS * PLZZZ WATCH A TUTORIAL VID BEFORE DOING IT** A BIOS UPDATE IS THE LAST RESORT METHOD IF YOUR PC IS CRASHING NONSTOP
      Windows Settings
      1. Enable Game Bar
      2. Disable Game Capture
      3. Set power plan to balanced or High Performance or Ultimate Performance (Makes fps more stable and from what I've seen ultimate performance power plan gives like a 1-2 fps increase and makes fps more stable)
      5. Update your GPU drivers (especially if u stream)
      6. Update window updates
      7. Disable unwanted background apps
      8. If you have games like valorant, in the bottom right corner click on the arrow and close riot games, vanguard, valorant. (They run in the background even when you don't have them open)
      9. Close Chrome Tabs
      10. In the graphic settings under your display settings put the game you want as a High priority for the GPU (some games will already appear in this tab, just set it to high performance)
      11. If you record clips with a high bitrate, lower it or if u dont care about clips then just turn off your recording software
      12. Every time you open Fortnite, open task manager and go to the details tab, Look for Fortnite and set it as a high priority task.
      Fortnite Settings
      1. Disable Vsync
      2. Set the display to FullScreen
      3. Cap Your FPS to your monitor refresh rate (hz)
      4. Disabling Replays recordings can help fps stability
      5. Turn off energy saving mode
      Epic Games App
      1. Verify Fortnite Files
      2. Uninstall save the world, DX12 Shaders, High resolution textures
      External issues
      1. Make sure your PC isnt too dusty
      2. Check that your fans are working
      3. Sometimes you will get bad performance due to a pc hardware going bad such as the ram
      (Intense Tweaks)
      1. Overclocking your CPU to a higher Ghz can Improve fps. (It will run hotter so make sure its less than 82 degrees)
      2. Overclocking your GPU can boost fps by like 4-10fps depending on the overclock.
Hopefully you can boost fps or make your game feel more stable. If your confused on any of the steps you can search it up on YT on how to do one of these steps for example: How to enable XMP on my B550 Gigabyte Motherboard

This seasons ends in 17 days and it performs pretty good with a 180FPS CAP. (This season has stutter issues, but fortnite is working on fixing those issues) The Ryzen 5 5600 is better than the one I used in this video so its a solid combo. Next season is ch6 and OG CH1 so You'll be good with those parts

    • @SandwichTech_
      @SandwichTech_  หลายเดือนก่อน

Do you know which i5? The i5 12400f will be better for gaming. Depending on where you live the Ryzen 5 5500 is usually cheaper. For me I live In the U.S. so the Ryzen 5 5500 is around $83 while the i5 12400f is around $112.
If I had to choose between those 2 based off performance and pricing (U.S. Dollar) I would go for the ryzen 5 5500. You can later upgrade to lets say the 5700x3d or a used 5800x3d

The reason I’m stuck is because well I do mainly play fps games but would also want the extra screen real estate since I’ll be editing and multitasking.

Try these tips for better fps or at least to make it more stable (BTW many pro players like reet, clix, bucke, peterbot have been experiencing stutters and drops despite having like the best cpu's and gpus, so its happening to everybody) Fortnite knows theres a stutter issue right now so they are working on an update to fix the stutter problems. so try dx12 if its still bad
      Bios/UEFN Settings
      1. Enable XMP/DOCP (This will make the ram run at a faster frequency which can boost fps)
      2. Enable 4G Decoding
      3. Enable Resize Bar
      4. Set your cpu cooler to turbo if your getting bad temps while gaming. Bad temps can cause performance loss
      5. If you constantly crash I recommend updating your motherboard BIOS * PLZZZ WATCH A TUTORIAL VID BEFORE DOING IT** A BIOS UPDATE IS THE LAST RESORT METHOD IF YOUR PC IS CRASHING NONSTOP
      Windows Settings
      1. Enable Game Bar
      2. Disable Game Capture
      3. Set power plan to balanced or High Performance or Ultimate Performance (Makes fps more stable and from what I've seen ultimate performance power plan gives like a 1-2 fps increase and makes fps more stable)
      5. Update your GPU drivers (especially if u stream)
      6. Update window updates
      7. Disable unwanted background apps
      8. If you have games like valorant, in the bottom right corner click on the arrow and close riot games, vanguard, valorant. (They run in the background even when you don't have them open)
      9. Close Chrome Tabs
      10. In the graphic settings under your display settings put the game you want as a High priority for the GPU (some games will already appear in this tab, just set it to high performance)
      11. If you record clips with a high bitrate, lower it or if u dont care about clips then just turn off your recording software
      12. Every time you open Fortnite, open task manager and go to the details tab, Look for Fortnite and set it as a high priority task.
      Fortnite Settings
      1. Disable Vsync
      2. Set the display to FullScreen
      3. Cap Your FPS to your monitor refresh rate (hz)
      4. Disabling Replays recordings can help fps stability
      5. Turn off energy saving mode
      Epic Games App
      1. Verify Fortnite Files
      2. Uninstall save the world, DX12 Shaders, High resolution textures

@ at that point either your cpu is overheating and it reduces the performance. Also in terms of stutters fortntie is working to improve on this issue. They will release an update to fix the stutter problems on performance mode. Their next update is Nov 13th so hopefully all the fps drops and stutters get bette optimized.

I’m waiting for Black Friday to see if parts go on sale so update once I got the parts. Yea my bad tho for the miscommunication
