I allways liked their more dark ages/medieval style army compared to the empire's being more rennaisance and their myths being closer to arthurian & parsifalian. Amgoing back to check out all the fantasy episodes I skipped over as you've gotten my interest back into the genre, TY.
Im preparing various NPC's for my 4e RolePlay campaign, and im making an errant knight with a "yeoman squire" servant, the servant being the closest to a middle class a peasant can be, being pretty much the knight's pet since childhood in their montfortian state. Serving as mercenaries against beastmen in Middenland, such a position ensuring worthy enemies to be encountered, as beastmen don't fear killing, unlike the outlaws.

There's definitely an allure to the style of Arthurian armies along with the myths and legends and creatures accompanying it all.

Bretonia are my fav human army in Warhammer fantasy.
They also seem one of the most technologically backwards, lol.
