Mark the fixed position on the pliers to get 4 equal leaf
You can make 3 or 4 leaf as you like
Depending on the purpose, you can use large or small wires, change the details to match the pattern you want to do. Different combinations will produce different patterns
Use the basic chain to connect the motifs
In the video I use :
20 gauge ( wire diameter 0.8mm )
TIPS :
- Before doing, Always be sure to straighten the wire for a more beautiful product
- Can use a towel to straighten the wire.
- Refer to how to straighten the wire here • Basic guide - straight...
- Can be replaced with silver wire or gold wire for jewelry more valuable
Or simply use cheap material like copper wire to make gifts for friends, family or for yourself
- I just give way reference, not the best way. Can change size wire to suit your purpose. You can do better than me.
- I bought all the material and stones in where I live (Vietnam)
I used to round copper wire - magnet wire , it's the only kind I found where I lived for many sizes. I do not know exactly what type it was, can be normal copper wire, it have plating layer, and not dark by time

Thanks. I always try to make videos that use a variety of techniques, from simple to complex with many topics, with the purpose that people always find what they need in my channel 😊
Really like the way you hold our hand through simple to very complex wire warping techniques. I have learned a trick or two, or three and likely more. Now I have 2 for you or your audience. A slim piece of tape around the nose of the round-nosed pliers last much longer than chalk ( you've been doing this so long you don't need either), but if we are to make more than a few, tape holds up better. And finally, dressing the end of the wire that is angle cut with a file or making sure that you have flat cuts on either end by cutting your wire a little too long and turning it in your cutters so you have 2 flat ends when you make the final cut gives you a nicer, more professional finish to the pieces - does waste a bit of wire though so remember to collect up your scraps if you are working with silver. They can add up and should you progress to casting, you may not need to purchase the whole amount for your first piece)
Thanks for your information. I'll try it next time. I usually use ink to mark it, but I don't have light inks (to can see clearly during filming), so I use chalk

I use 3 basic Pliers: Round Nose Pliers (yellow), Flat Nose Pliers, no cog ( blue), Cutting Pliers (red). Can be purchased in tools silversmith shops, handmade accessories or buy at online shops

Your instructions were so helpful for me.
I could acquire the kind of wire you suggested here in India.
People who make handmade jewellery here are not usually wire wrapped.
I developed interest in such work but was unable to get proper wire and asked you. And then I could find winding wire used for electromagnets. These are varnished and don't tarnish as a result of pollution. These are also dead soft wire. We don't get square or half round wire here.
I also found only round wires, no square or half round wire.
so I use round wires for all my products.
Diverse types of wires will give you a variety of products with many different styles. but for simple models I think it doesn't matter if have just round wires.

Eu costumava arredondar fio de cobre - fio magnético (tipo de fio que não é usado para fazer jóias, seu preço é muito baixo). é o único tipo que encontrei onde morava por vários tamanhos. Não sei exatamente de que tipo era, pode ser fio de cobre normal, tem camada de revestimento e não fica escuro pelo tempo
