If you look closely, the PlayStation version of the game ran on a totally different game engine than on PC (as far as I know?). A lot of the tracks among versions are actually different, even the music is different with some shared on both. Porsche was almost two different games on the PC and PlayStation, while NFS3 and 4 where much closely related and had all the same tracks and music.
@Wadsy that‘s right. I was referring to EA as publishers though. Still yeah the PS1 version is by the same developers as V-Rally on PS1 and thus uses the same engine. Eden Studios was also known for TD Unlimited if I‘m correct. That game was great as well btw
