    That is an amazing find, save, G10 killer!!!! For that to survive that long, for you to find it in a crappy creek, not break it with the shovel! Not being able to even see!!! And modern glass to be on the shovel!!!
    Dude that was like hitting the lottery!!
    As always I love your vids. I’m resorted to watching old videos but I never saw that one! Will you consider doing a video of all your fines at some point show in your cases? I think that would be pretty dope! Stay safe waiting for the next upload as always! Thank you very much for what you do!

    • @Theditchwalker

      I appreciate it Scott...I actually do not keep a big collection....long story short...I have a few friends that are collectors.,I'd rather put them in their hands so they can be shown at shows....I am always working or hunting. Don't get me wrong., I hunt for the sheer passion of finding something that old made by the hands of a craftsman ancient artisan.

      It's the whole state. ... The powers that be say it's to preserve the Native American's culture, to leave them where you find them. ... There is a very stiff fine, too, if you are caught removing any artifacts from their locations. ... Very sad, I know!

    Had a couple questions for ya. I have some good creeks that’s full of flakes and points. What do you suggest I start at. I’m a digging fool and have found tons of points. But new to the digging in creek theory. Where should I start

    • @Theditchwalker
      @Theditchwalker  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I like that question....well.,you know as well as I do that you learn hotspots in creeks after walking the same creeks for years. I like to get just upstream from where the flakes are relatively more concentrated...hence where the heavier stuff (points) tend to settle and the lighter stuff (flakes)tend to get scattered downstream...that's where I would start....hope this helps

    • @Theditchwalker
      @Theditchwalker  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Martin Turner I hunt year round,but certain places I do not go during hunting season...they let me hunt their creeks so I leave'em alone during deer season and hunt a lotta bottom land where there are little to no hunters...yeah.,deer hunters will get upset if u mess up they're hunt aahaha...I just hunt around them.I have like 30 creeks and feeders I hunt...Thanks for your comment and good luck to you

  • @robertjwilliams3532
    @robertjwilliams3532 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I know "hunters" never like disclosing there sites, but this is not really asking for much. Are you hunting below or above Tupelo? I am in Hardin Co. Tn.

    • @Theditchwalker
      @Theditchwalker  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mostly north and east of Tupelo...I hunt northern Lee .,Southern prentiss and western Itawamba counties

    • @robertjwilliams3532
      @robertjwilliams3532 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I thought these areas looked familiar. Don't have many ditches, or branches like this on up near the Tn river (east side) in the low part of Tn. That is until you get on over into the western side of McNairy Co. The state boundary areas from McNairy Co. to Shelby Co. on both sides of the state line look much like the area you hunt in.

    • @Theditchwalker
      @Theditchwalker  3 ปีที่แล้ว
