I wonder if they still have volta in the evening? The entire town of Edessa (formerly Vodin, Macedonia) closes the streets to cars and everyone comes out to walk and socialize!
@@simonkranz25 It's all in the pronunciation. My spelling is probably wrong. My pronunciation comes from Macedonian and how I remember, many years ago. My grandfather was born there in 1891.

I am not sure when the name was Vodin. It was Vodena during Ottoman Empire and before long time ago it was Archaia Edessa.
