Played this kind of priest deck for the last few days and it s really good in this meta. You can replace some card with cult master and priest totem to fill your deck and hand with 1 mana card and draw like crazy.
I'd like to play this, but I don't have Activate the Oberlisk, Psychopomp, Zilliax, Khartut Defender, Batterhead, Plague of Death, or Zerek's Cloning Gallery and only 1600 dust.
I might actually use my dust on the priest quest. This looks fun and I've always wanted a good reason to get the quest! Beats all the most unfair decks. I like it!

I dont get how cloning gallery is one of the weaker cards in the deck when he won the second game as a result of playing it. Anyone care to explain the reasoning?
it was good in that situation but it's really not that good in every situation. very often all of the 1/1s will get cleared unless you are playing against a very aggro deck its still not a bad choice for the deck but it's a lot of mana to spend and it can end up being pretty useless
It's a really expensive card, and it didn't "win the game" for thijs. What won the game for him was the dispel, the tons of healing from waterbearer and the Batterhead that cleared the board without needing plague.
In general against rogue/hunter if you reach turn 9 with this deck and you can play a 9 mana do almost nothing card (summon 1/1 zilly and some taunts), then you’re going to win anyway. Against control/mage/druid, summon a bunch of 1/1s will probably just get cleared pretty efficiently. That’s why this card is not essential for this deck.
Gallery has won me so many games. Only in a very few situations it's bad. It helps the quest, give you extra value with taunts, healing and a good pool for ressurrecting. The card is great for the deck.

This is the ultimate entitled whale deck right now. They can BM you, play super obvious, be toxic, and get away with it every time because this deck is generally unbeatable. Blizzard has decided that Res Priest should always be a thing, and that the rest of us should just have to deal with it.

Nice! I can finally play priest again. A bit disappointed about the fact that no new cards apparently work in quest priest. The 4 mana “cube” might be an option but it’s maybe too slow. The problem with the new expansion is that there are literally no healing cards for priest. Instead we got some weird dragons with no real sinergy and an unnecessary card generation invoke for a class that doesn’t focus on tempo (also the pool of minions you can randomly get is inconsistently mehhh). I trust in your creativity! Maybe one day you’ll break the meta again with some real new priest ✔️ Big ups

danielmaster87 it’s called control decks. Perfect meta when all of them balanced and have similar win rate so you just can choose from great variety of playstyles. Usually Argo decks boring, just all face. No counting, no mindplayes, no strategy.

If you go all in on building a board, it gets cleared. If you hold back, it gets cleared anyway and you lose too much tempo. The comeback of Facehunter and Pirate Warrior shows how stupid original Hearthstone became. Nobody wished for that. Battlegrounds is the only hope imo.

I always lose with this deck because I always insist on putting Phaoris in a deck with 4 9 drops. So I end up not using them when I probably should.
at 3:51, why didn't the secret pop when Zilly attacked? it popped on the next attack instead? Does it only pop when there's room for the snake?
Yes, the board was full when Zilly attacked, so there was no room for the snakes => no secret popped

I got crushed on ladder a bit with it but I enjoy dragons and the cards. Just sucks facing some of these decks
