The drama is very good tho I'll be honest, the girl is really annoying since ep 1 not because of the bromance thingy but because how she mess everything and make a nonsense and too light conclusion in the investigation. The frame up young man is really telling the truth based on his expression and so as his alibi.

I agree. She could literally get him killed and she doesn't care. She ruined his life and his career out of vindictiveness. She is even making things difficult for the police detective, riling up the families of the missing people. She doesn't care what happens to anyone else as long as she gets what she wants!!! Ugh! Why do so many writers don't know how to write a female character? The actor is doing fine but the writing behind her character is too annoying. I feel like dropping this show because of her sometimes. I hope she gets a good character arc, otherwise, she is just a waste of screentime and actor. I feel bad for that actor tbh.
@Pratigya Kc aww...plz give it a try if you can. You can speed watch or totally skip her parts and it doesn't affect the plot. It's a really entertaining and fast paced drama. And you're right, Yitian as Lu Yao is so, soooooo good.

I have a guess. I think originally this show is just about those two males and their bromance(maybe something even deeper than just bromance u know?). But since the Chinese television law or something does not allow “deeper bromance” they brought in a third character, the girl, to act as the love interest of one of them. Maybe her character is actually not that essential but they needed one for the show to be broadcasted.

Well, I think this is going to be a really, cute series, even if it is not going to be the Boy Love thing I was hoping for. Both guys are cute and they seem to have good chemistry together. Hell, I'd watch this for the backdrop alone. Absolutely, love everything I'm seeing everywhere in this series, and wish to God, we had more of it in the world today. This was a time when everything was beautiful and had tons of character. I absolutely, loved the backdrop of the Untamed series, as well. My God, some of it was so, so, beautiful. Bravo to everyone involved in that respect, as they are hugely, talented.
