  • Most businesses were allowed to resume operations on May 4 after 47 days of the Movement Control Order (MCO). As Malaysia’s economy emerges from the shutdown, which has been effective in arresting the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the days ahead will look very different with a new normal such as we must follow the Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) that have been mandate by the government. Early reports revealed that a new coronavirus was spreading rapidly between people, researchers have been trying to pin down whether it can travel through the air. Health officials say the virus is transported only through droplets that are coughed or sneezed out directly, or on objects. But, some scientists say there is preliminary evidence that airborne transmission in which the disease spreads in the much smaller particles from exhaled air, known as aerosols is occurring, and that precautions, such as increasing ventilation indoors, should be recommended to reduce the risk of infection. Thus, monitoring the air quality gains another urgency. Therefore, we provide solutions in installation of sensors that collect air quality information and are connected to an Artificial Intelligence system that can activate and deactivate HVAC systems as needed.
