It was sent to Oscar by the board, the government will always award patriotic films and bio pics. Gully Boy was more global why would anyone watch Kesari and feel patriotic it's essence will be lost. Global Films where the actors have trained and acted instead of just being patriotic mostly make it to Oscars. Unlike Indian film awards both National and Filmfare, they are extremely holistic and select films on acting, cinematography and other nuances instead of peddling propaganda, both right wing or left wing.

But not this brave warriors kesari movie and interesting fact is they were awarded by British government ?other films like tumbbad, andhadhun some South movies etc.were more deserving than this ? That's why india never got an oscar ?

@@abhijitl1960 That scene, yes! But in general, every scene was well done. In Masaan, Vicky is just the character...there was NO acting going on there. It's also true that not all awards go to the most deserving. Often times they go to the ones who seek them badly. Who'll market themselves extraordinarily, and that includes pulling strings and returning favors. When your work is not the most deserving, the award is a favor, right?
@@completelynew009 no doubt the movie and all the characters in it were very real and natural. Well we cannot deny commercialisation of awards these days and also the fact that political influence does play a vital role in such awards being conferred upon such well connected individuals.
I just loved the kids......they show their values.... touching feet of president......ya ...some will say srf per chu lene see adar nii dikha jata.......but in mAh opinion it's shows ur values ......ur gratitude
