One of the best Christmas gifts I received Brought it home, got it stacked and getting ready for 2025 project These guys are the best, they have brought my appreciation of The beauty of wood to a new level, very therapeutic God bless them all, and all the followers on utube
Just watched Rob and Dave cut a beam 25 feet long. 1/8th inch out from end to end. All set now. A snow beam. Glad yall and doing good. Beautiful firewood too! Keep on bus motoring and God Bless Yall
Beautiful white oak. I think oak is a gorgeous wood. You guys do a super good job. Enjoy watching. So does my 6 year old grandson. Thanks for the G rating and the ride.
Hi Mark. Beautiful white oak. Thanks Mark, Ed, ZZ, & Hank. I appreciate all you do. Good luck Hank. Have a good Sunday the 29th. 🥰😊😉🥶👍❤️💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻CHEERS! ☕️☕️
Some really good looking oak. I enjoy your narration while your deciding when and how and why you turn it to the next side. It would be cool to see the controls and how you use them to operate the mill. Anyway, happy new year and may God keep you all safe.
Our company in Pa builds several white oak exterior doors. I hate it and refer to it as mulch. It’ll check, split, crack and twist, it’s so unstable. We get a lot do request for rift white oak, and it’s more per foot then walnut. There’s such a demand for white that our suppliers are saying it’s coming from all over the country, so they don’t really know the area it came from or If it was dried properly.
Hope you guy had a great Christmas and your New Year goes well. In the UK that would have had to have be a really crappy piece of Oak to be in the fire wood pile, any remotely good Oak will be cut for boards as we cannot afford to waste anything.
Eight o’clock on Sunday morning that is some beautiful grain in that oak log , having a day off this foot isn’t healing and I’ve got to go asses a job tomorrow anyway you guys have a nice day
The out of square started with your first turn. Your first instinct to put it down on the flat was correct. You should not have tried to put it against the knees.
Hey guies" just what town are you in as I can get your wheather and am ,,, after many years of "C B ing" and after talking to very meney years of that, I am really intrested in your wheather, temp. out side as right now i watch Moscow(Moscov) Bejean(???) nom alaska soal koria and find that just fasinating so this is why i am askingn as then i can see your temp.. m/c
Best of the Christmas and New Year's season to you Good Sir 🙂 Question: Does the blade have a harder time going through frozen logs? What role does moisture content play in that, and do you ever warm up a log before sawing it?
Lovely white oak, Grandpa said his hydraulics are just as stiff as start up as he is on these cold mornings. Those size boards would be ideal for hay wagons. Maybe they would even be too good for that. I can see them turning into fine chairs too.
@markgalicic7788 yes, I saw that in the end. I'm sure that will be very good mead. Would be great for New Year's but I don't know if it can be brewed?? Distilled?? That quickly.
cold nah it's that tropical heat wave coming through ha ha grump old men put a hotdog in her bun ha ha one eye to the optometrist ha ha ha home alone 3 Kevin's revenge brand new yes Harry and marv Macaulay calkin

I was seeing a bunch of barrel staves as you were sawing.
Bill
Hope the new year is prosperous for you
Ask Hank if he could bring in one of the barrels to show us please. Thanks.
This one is like an "Easter Egg" log. ie. Hidden surprise... WTG
Anything to keep Hank the Crank happy. Lol
Santa Hank

Happy New Year!
Good video Bus Motor Productions
40's here in Southern Michigan
Thumbs up
Hank won’t have to cut the staves, you did it for him 😂
The out of square started with your first turn. Your first instinct to put it down on the flat was correct. You should not have tried to put it against the knees.
When you cut the second side the first side was not flat against the knees and that is why the log was not square for all the subsequent cuts
That would have been a shame to cut it up for firewood but like you say, one never knows.
Mark, Have you noticed that the first front wheel is not turning?
nice whitr oak guys ty
And dont forget to please ask for a tast of that glorys golden water of life.
Just curious.. what size is the blade and how many tpi. something oddly satisfying about watching these videos..
Как всегда работа сделана красиво👍
Got pace yourself😅😅
💥💥
Oh, he said mead. I had to listen to it again. The first time I thought he said weed.
You seem to get a lot of oval shaped logs. What makes trees do that?
Some lovely looking boards👍🏼
thanks Tony.
Noticed it fell out of square when the opening face was put to the knees
.. I wonder if he is salting the meat that way ..?
Mark, where are located? Pennsylvania?
Beautiful white oak. Glad you saved it from the "fire wood." Good one.
thanks Richard.
You guys look like ZZ Top......
Not only was i first I am 100th to comment!😊

That would be a shame to make that log into firewood. That could be made into fine furniture.

Good Shelving Boards
for sure.
bonne année 2025 from Quebec
Best of the Christmas and New Year's season to you Good Sir 🙂
Question: Does the blade have a harder time going through frozen logs? What role does moisture content play in that, and do you ever warm up a log before sawing it?
thank you , frozen logs saw about the same you just need to run standall bits in the saw and make sure the dogs are holding good.
Lovely white oak, Grandpa said his hydraulics are just as stiff as start up as he is on these cold mornings. Those size boards would be ideal for hay wagons. Maybe they would even be too good for that. I can see them turning into fine chairs too.

Looks like you had a parallelogram.
Yeah, that first turn didn't get uptight against the knees. Interesting how it continues to propagate through all the cuts.
