    Love your setup. Haven't gone to the R5 from my several 5D MK4's yet. But I hear it scratching at my door.

    I got the ghetto version of this setup. Used 5Diii, Used EF 50 1.2, and 2 AD200's. I dont have the pro's but i've found the regular ad200's can keep up with my dslr shutter.

      I got the ghetto EF 85 1.2 adapted to R6.

      Nothing ghetto about that setup at all. That is a pro setup. That is what I used to use, and I made some beautiful images. That setup built my business. Thanks for the comment.

      That is a pro setup. I have the same lens. Even though I want the RF 85mm 1.2L, I have the EF version. I will be using it for headshots in a few weeks for a very important shoot. Thanks for the comment! Happy 2024!

      Your comment made my day 😂. The 5D3 is a good camera and reliable. There’s nothing wrong on using used gear as long it works. You will be able to get newer gears later on your photography journey. Just take good pics and create good content with your current set up.

    Thanks for this awesome video. I also use Godox lights, an R5 and the 50 1.2. I would love to learn more about your lighting setup and process the images you show look incredible!

      @@photographybydaniellee haha! It’s so funny because your thoughts around the 15 -35, 2.8 L were my thoughts exactly! Maybe that’s why I love your content so much!

    Funny thing I had the bulb randomly fall out and break on my AD600 on the Jackson bridge. Great video.

    If you can please I would like to know how Lightroom indicates what flash I'm using unless I take the image of the scene with the Flash and the image thanks

    • @photographybydaniellee
      @photographybydaniellee  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I could be mistaken, but I think Lightroom just tells you if a flash fired. It will not tell which flash was used. I knew which flash I was using because I use the same one all of the time for off camera flash.

    Hi, thank you for this amazing review. It is just perfect timing, because i'm just about to sell my Fujiflm and go back into full frame. At the begining of my photography journey i spent a couple of years with just a 50mm 1.8 and i enjoyed it so much, but that was just for fun. Then i started making money with photograpy and had to use zooms and couple of primes, and that caused me to burn out and give up photography altogether. After about 2 years without much shooting i started missing it again and decided to sell my Fujifilm XT3 and lenses and start with Canon R5 or R6 mkII. The problem is the lens choice: i cosidered only a 50mm 1.2 but am afraid that i will miss a lot of opportunities, the second choice was a 24-70 2.8 (but i already know i will have issues in low light when i dont have my godox with me). Any thoughts between 50 1.2 and 24-70 2.8? please help

      I actually made a video about the 24-70 after reviewing over 20,000 photos in Lightroom. I made the decision of going with the 50mm 1.2. I really don’t miss out on much. I do have the EF 24-70 still, and I used to bring it with me for a long time until I found that I can do everything I need with the 50mm. But definitely watch my video on my thoughts. My conclusion was that primes were the best for my style of photography.

      @@photographybydaniellee Thank you for your reply. I might be trying to convince myself here, but since i am now only planning to shoot for fun, i would probably have much more piece od mind knowing that i can just take a 50mm and be done with all the stress (should i take another lens etc etc) and also if the light is low and i'm travelling i will be fine because it's a fast prime and not a 2.8 zoom. At the end of the day i might just get a 50mm 1.8 which is very cheap and spend a couple of months only with it and see if i really like it like i used to like the first one when i started. And it's much safer than spending a fortune on a $2000+ lens not really being sure if it will suit me at all.

      @@piotrwydmuch9413 That is a good plan. The 1.8 is pretty affordable, and from what I heard, it is a solid lens. I hate to complicate your decision, but you may want to consider renting the RF 35mm 1.8 if you are looking for a walk around lens.

      @@photographybydanielleethank you again. It did cross my mind to get the RF 35mm 1.8 but it’s quite a lot more expensive then the 50 1.8 and since I am curious if it would be a great choice I also have a feeling that it might be a touch too wide for the moments when I want to get a portrait and focus on one subject more.
