I'm just a retired Miner from Arizona but sometimes our precious Savior gives me things to write. I hope that is ok for me to share this poem that the Lord gave me to write. Your song reminded me of it. I hope it blesses you as much as your ministry in music has blessed me. ~The City of New Jerusalem~ You, oh City of New Jerusalem, City of the Living God how patiently you have waited for the redeemed ones to enter your gates. There was a star over Bethlehem sent to show them the way; the child of the manger now King, returns to guide them to you the City of His thrown. He is King, He is Lord, He is above all yet He loves each one. The power of their praises will light your streets oh New Jerusalem, the redeemed of the Messiah are coming home, their love for Him is a life flow in New Jerusalem. Prophets have longed to see this day and the grace that was to come, to know the day when Christ who suffered the cost of redemption, would bring those He purchased to their eternal home. Give praise, give praise and worship with them oh city of New Jerusalem. Now oh city of God lift up your gates and bring them in for Messiah has gone on promised clouds of glory to bring them to you.
