I think one of the things I've loved most about this film is getting to hear Katherine's thoughts - wow, could I listen to her talk about this film forever. She's so eloquent and deeply emotional and it's so enjoyable to watch
I am curious, there is a part in the movie where they are making love and i dont know who between the ladies spoke the line "I have to go, youre going to leave a mark" while having sex. Im curious on what does it mean shes going to leave a mark
I love the passion and emotion of katherine when she talks about the characters and the script, you can totally see she connects with them and i find that so admirable and interesting. Truly an inspiration ✨💖

Ha. I thought Waterston was not a choice I would have made (just coming down to "types" that I like, and we like to watch our types in onscreen romances or at least I do) but listening to her speak, I am charmed completely. She is sensitive, empathetic, and passionate. Looking forward to what sounds like a wonderful film from a wonderful team.
Same. I don't even know Waterston until now because of this movie. I mean I've seen her in Fantastic Beast but did not really register. I love that she is so passionate and sensitive and after watching this video, I begun to like her a lot. I love Vanessa. She is the reason why I am here. I think they will both give a great performance in this movie. They look good together on screen. Excited to watch the film.
I thought the same. I wondered why they didn't choose a more screen-ideal actress like Vanessa (no offense, she's NOT ugly but I meant by Hollywood's standards) but she is adorable here
Casting is remarkably complex because the need to have the actors convey the 'moment' is paramount. These two remarkable actors are simply astonishing. Mona equally so because the moment can be just as easily lost as captured.
I am deeply moved by #katherinewaterston and #vanessakirby 's performances! I literally have to get a daily fix, but sometimes need to skip over the sadness for self preservation. 💔 Mona's work definitely gave the story a realistic feel! I do not have the option to watch on the big screen, but I can say (Katherine Waterston) that this movie is moving, even on a 55 inch television. ❤️❤️❤️
Same, Wendy. I have to block out with my hand "that scene" (ashen pallor and all, thanks to the makeup crew), a prelude to "those scenes." 😉 I do love the fan compilations of scenes, esp. with "Breathe," & Taylor's "evermore."
Good to see the talented American Film Producer Christine Vachon/Killer Films here. Whenever she’s involved you can expect a great movie! I reckon she must be the most ardent DM’s wearer😉🥳....remember “Carol” at the Cannes Film Festival 2015 and the hoo-ha about women having to wear 'heels' at these functions😂....not Vachon👍👏🌷🌷
I also love how Kat steps forward at 12:08 & 12:43 to ensure that Mona gets her due. She's come sooo far from a DP30 interview I'd just watched with her re: Inherent Vice.. She was hesitant and self-conscious, and clearly uncomfortable with ?'s about past films.
This feels no different from watching a pageant Q&A.. held my breath while waiting for their answers 😌 Will definitely watch the movie but I hope they let the viewers ask questions 😅

@3:35. If I were living back then, I think I would need the immediacy of validation and the necessity of "I see you." (Thank you, James Cameron and Avatar.) Otherwise, it would be an oblivion of the soul.
Last thot: @13:19, Kat laying her truth on us for almost 2.5 minutes about life in the harshest of times and how they might've found solace and purpose.

Same, when she starts at 13:18. You do feel her deep empathy for the stark limited reality of those women.

She is a great actress. You should see her in Steve Jobs and Inherent Vice.

UGH, I hate when people keep texting and then you see it in the video recording :P
Most of the people at the event were consumed by their phones...Why bother being there...

Is there an interview where they talk about the kisses?? Lol
Search for The Oscars World To Come. Mona, Katherine and Vanessa discussed the first kiss.
