Well, needless to say that the vocals are just a big, enormous trouble( I adore their songs with Lars, as well as the absolute most of the new instrumentals, but these vocals... oh man, they just kill everything. Live especially. And here is no 'unlucky exception' - I saw them in person in London a few months ago and it was all the same. Killer drums, astonishing guitar tone, and just the same extremely out-of-tune vocals. And now I'd like to pose the following question: HOW on Earth could Paavo reach Voice of Finland finals back in the day? Moreover, some of his performances there were REALLY respectful, the Careless Whisper for instance. Just go check the ending part of it - there were some reeeally nice vocal skills. But how could it turn to THIS? I just don't get it, for real. Could it even be a phonogram?
