A pleasure to get to see and hear from Naruke-san, one of my childhood heroes and a true goddess of composition in the genre. We often hear of names like Uematsu and Sakuraba, but among the composers of the older series, two of my all time favourites were Noriyuki Iwadare and Michiko Naruke. When I heard the first few pieces from Armed Fantasia I immediately got chills. It really sounds like an evolution of a familiar sound, and was somehow both inspiring and nostalgic. It's interesting to hear Naruke-san feels as though she can express herself freely in this title, and it really shines through; all I can say is that I hope the game itself lives up to the gauntlet laid down by its composer. It's too bad that I doubt this message will ever reach her, because I have so much respect and gratitude for the composers that helped to bring so much colour to my youth, and that I sometimes continue to listen to even today. Looking forward to the rest of the game - and OST!
I have been listening to her music since I was a child and she was a big inspiration for me to become a video game composer/music producer. Thank you for your hard work! From what I have heard so far from the game, it sounds fantastic! I will always see you as one of the all time great video game composers!
If it means anything to y'all, the music in the Kickstarter trailer is really what convinced my to go for it. The game itself does look great of course but the music sounds unbelievably promising so I just couldn't help but back it as well.
Wild Arms 1's OST has been very close and important to me for a large portion of my life, I was just listening to it again and thought to look up the composer's name and wow! So cool she's still going and obviously has a lot of passion still, best of luck with this and all your projects Ms Naruke! 👏💜

So excited by this! I'm hard-of-hearing, and listening to music in games now is a bit more trouble than it's usually worth if I'm being honest. I gotta plug a wireless transmitter into my monitor and use earbuds instead of just being able to listen to it like I used to do, so if I'm gonna listen to game audio (versus, say, just throw headphones on connected to my PC and listen to TH-cam videos and/or podcasts), that audio better be pretty good. Some JRPGs for sure, especially when Yasunori Mitsuda, Yoko Shimomura, or Go Shiina are involved in a games' soundtrack. Let me tell you: with Michiko Naruka involved, I will be making the effort to listen to Armed Fantasia when it comes out! NOTHING sounds like Wild ARMS did, and Armed Fantasia _will,_ and that makes me so happy 😄

自分が中学生の時、東京ゲームショウで姉が「WILD ARMS」の体験版をもらってきてくれた時から特別な存在になったのがワイルドアームズの音楽です。どんな言葉で表現していいか迷ってしまうくらいWA～WAFの作曲者のなるけみちこさんの音楽は、若かった自分の心を救ってくれました。
そして今でも、あの荒野で流れた救いの音楽は自分の人生を根底から手伝ってくれています。自分にとってずっとずっとかけがえのない存在だったのがワイルドアームズの音楽です。
「Armed Fantasia」というものを遅ればせながら本日知りまして、夢かと思いました。おじさんの年になってしまいましたが、あの若い時の深い心の動きがこれから味わえるのでしょうか…。心躍らせて楽しみにしております！！
