I always had fascination with this instrument since my childhood... purchased 2 rs Harmonica in childhood days...but couldn't do anything except harassing others and myself.
But yes somewhere I thought..I will learn one day....my Wife knew about this and yesterday to my surprise,She gifted me Harmonica ...and decided to learn..

Thank you Sir. I bought a 24 holes mouth organ 25 years back(1998-99). At present I am a learner of flute after my open heart surgery (at the age of 62 years) for last two and half years. Yesterday with my astonishment, I found the mouth organ (Shanghai made) in my cupboard as a stored article. Today I have learned the first session of mouth organ through your learning 'session-1' and subscribed your tutorial for the ongoing sessions. Sir, one thing I have done for easy way to handle my mouth organ during practice. Instead of wrapping the first and last eight holes with paper and rubber band as you shown in the session - 1, ... I fasten it with sticky cello tape (3.3cm breath and 6cm length) on the mouth organ as per your instruction. It works smoothly between my lips. I presume you shall approve it. Thanks again and Good Night.

Q1 MEI Harmonica has Yellow Marks where the Octaves Starts and Ends. I bought it for 800 and no need to close the other holes with paper I think. Thanks so much for your Teaching Sir.

I am practicing this on a 21-hole Harmonica. I can do it now because I found the notes combination. But what about practicing Sargam on the high and low octave in 21 holes? Is there a way to practice Sargam in the other two octaves on 21 holes, like the 24 holes?
