During the Zero Hour discussion of ongoing budget session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday, CM Bhagwant Mann promised to bring an all-party resolution against the Agnipath scheme.
The demand to do so was made by Congress Legislature Party leader Partap Bajwa. BJP MLA Ashwani Sharma opposed the move.
The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

This scheme is unfair for Indian boys and girls. It should not be imposed in this country. It is dangerous for new Jawans. This Govt is totally running on off road and required to come up for smooth functioning.
They are doing it because of money a huge chunk of money alloted to the Armed forces is paid on pensions it more than the salaried employees.. first option government has is to make it mandatory for everyone, second is the agnipath like schemes... i think second scheme is good because those don't want to go they have that option... also you still have NDA , CDS, AFCAT as options to serve as an officer.. Also you have SSC for 15 years after that you can work in banks and other PSUs.. cut off is not that much and you join in as same pay scale.. I think in 4 years PSUs will give quota to these agniveers like EXS has.. we have to give time to the government..
