      Govt taxation rules are major problem for that, there is heavy taxation and that money is spend on vote bank politics to give freebies and not on improvement of infrastructure. Thus it is natural that rich will move to low taxation countries like UAE, East Aisa and parts of Europe..

    True what Rajeev ji said about caste system and how to deal with it. We need to first go back to varna system where it's based on skill and not on family.
    The government can help do that by going completely merit based and giving support to economic system
    But people need to know the true history of caste system which was NOT discriminatory, but was made so by the British.

    • @preshitx
      @preshitx ปีที่แล้ว

      Varna is based on Guna and Karma , not skills...Past life karmas effect Varna as much as present karma and Guna or to be precise the 3 Gunas of Prakriti are constituents of Prakriti and the Prakriti that encompasses the Jivatma is the sharir and since sharir or physical body is made by your parents , the proportion of Gunas in your body depends on the proportion of Gunas in bodies of your parents...This siddhant is also supported by the modern behavioral geneticists who have shown by their studies that genes have significant impact on personality and that Identical twins who have almost the same genetic framework show same personalities even when they grew up in two different families.
      Nature doesn't believe in Equality , it creates diversity , so no matter how harsh that sounds , all children are not equal in qualities(Blankslatism is a lie and nature is not a robot factory) and they have different strong and weak areas.

    Brilliant outspoken dialogue with Iitians . While the gurus, politicians and burocrats are looking elsewhere and avoiding conflicts, Rajivji has taken heavy responsibility of upholding our culture and heritage and he is to be supported by learned people who are convinced. iITS have made a distinction and a class of their own and we are proud of them. Let them defend our cultural heritage and our languages. Jai Bharath!

  • @nrusimha11

    My comment from elsewhere: Valmiki was ST tribal, Vyasa was SC/ST, Kalidasa - OBC. Others? Their writings are foundational to Bharateeya samskriti and are revered by all Bharateeya. Knowledge was not restricted by varna in Bharat until the British came and created casta. While fighting external threats like Harvard and ThePrint, HIndu civil society must also take up in earnest ghar wapsi for all the disaffected, including the DMKvaadis, converted Christians and Muslims. Data on numbers do not support continuing business as usual on casta arguments; urgently needs fresh thinking from sanatani acharya on new communication strategies.

    • @sonaparivraj4515
      @sonaparivraj4515 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ancients did not have same classifications as current, They were not called ST, tribal or anything else. Ancients only used professional designations, followed, practiced karma theory as taught in their residential gurukuls, which ALL kids attended. Varnasram was meritocracy. Ramayan Mahbharat are historic dharmik poems with figures of speech which was norm, even in upanishads. They are poets, not historians. There were many of those. Books have interpolations, discrepencies as explained by many scholars.

    • @nrusimha11
      @nrusimha11 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sonaparivraj4515 That is true. Also true that there is urgent work to be done by sanatani acharya to bring a common understanding of this to all of Bharat. There is work also to be done to dismantle the concretized casta and bring back the social mobility of varna. This is theoretical and conceptual work to begin with, and I worry that the acharya by being inactive on this front are giving headroom to the likes of the idiot prince. They need to be having internal deliberations on how to bring this social change to effect.

    I can understand Rajivji's frustration. if i had met Rajivji in my late teens or early 20s (i'm 37 now), I probably wouldn't have listened to him - I had a tunnel vision and these topics were not of any interest to me - my world was only about cricket, travel, biking, and entertainment and I come from a 'good' background that valued education, encouraged to help others, respect elders, discouraged alcohol and smoking - which all I followed and that was the extent of what 'good' meant.

    IIT has not had merit for a long time. Even back in the 1970s, out of the 1600 seats available in the JEE, 200 were reserved for SC/ST.

    • @mefisto05s.20
      @mefisto05s.20 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That doesn't prove it doesn't have merit. 200 is nothing compared to how many sc/st people there are in terms of application.

    • @shekar5128
      @shekar5128 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It has nothing to do with the numbers in the group.. Its preferential treatment given to one group and therefore by definition it's not merit based. The people who argue for quotas say this: "The upper caste had preferential treatment in the past and we want the same now." Their argument is not about merit at all. It's basically like two siblings fighting -- he got more so I want more. It's not about: "Let's have a fair system based on merit and getting opportunity based on who deserves it."
      My point about this video is exactly that: "IIT did not have a system of merit for a long time. It has been quota driven for a long time."
      If people on both sides really want a fair system then it has to be fair system -- group blind, caste blind, varna blind and jati blind. Then and only then it will be fair. Otherwise, the whole thing devolves to who got more -- and this is the state of India today -- in every field. No wonder there is so much incompetency and corruption. Another analogy to use is from the old Panchatantra tale: "Two cats fighting and the monkey gets the butter." In this case, the corrupt government officials and Western intellectuals (colonial mindset anyone?) get the butter.

    • @mefisto05s.20
      @mefisto05s.20 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@shekar5128 It has everything to do with numbers. Arguing that because 11.1% of the seats are reserved for vast population makes IIT not merit based is a completely flawed argument. Reservation is not a problem, lack of education institutions is the problem.

    • @shekar5128
      @shekar5128 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@mefisto05s.20 Sure-- then why have the JEE at all then? Just give majority of the seats to SC/ST and call it a day. Oh! Make sure 50% are for women though, and make sure all the sub-castes are proportionally represented. All the 1000s of Jatis are accounted for. And when some of them fail the exams, lower the standards. And when some of them graduate, make sure they get jobs. And if some of those are civil engineers, please tell me which bridges or buildings they built. I will make sure not to be anywhere near them.
      You eliminate merit -- you eliminate the only fair way of judging and what you have is called nihilism in western philosophy and satyanash in Hindu philosophy.

    • @mefisto05s.20
      @mefisto05s.20 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@shekar5128 good point. I wouldn't be okay with 50% women reservation, or reservation equal to population of sc/st. I'm not sure how much is the population either, but I know that sc/st and obc are majority of population. But you are digressing, I'm not for reservation. But against your statement, that having 200 seats out of 1800 makes IITs meritless since 1970's.

    not just confused, the sad state of affairs evident here is that most of them just look so dumb founded and deranged. What's wrong with you guys man ? can't you understand basic terminology ?
    When Rajiv Sir said - what is the basis of your assumption ? what is your empirical data etc. everyone goes either guilt tripping or ruptures of emotional responses in defense of historical concepts.. Being a non-IIT'an I am worried so much about IIT and I always thought if anyone can think structurally and technically, its you guys!! ? ?
    why doesn't someone from the IIT fold think/ say like :
    - IN DEFENSE : we should conduct an all inclusive survey of students from all backgrounds, record their testimonials in video and document, have them observed by neutral team of observers and produce empirical results with statistical data detailed with percentages, sample sizes etc. publish the methodology to have scientific validation.
    - IN OFFENSE : with the above results, construct a theory, give it a fancy label and call out people like Ajanta and Suraj something technically accurate but also demeaning.
    - REVERSE ATTACK : IIT'ans should form a team with students, faculties and even administrative staff from all the "so called" castes backgrounds, record and document their experiences against the claims of the likes of Ajanta and from the mouth of all the backward castes, actually have them comment and get back on the wild theories the cabal comes up with.
    - TEAMING and PUBLISHING : once you do this work individually in all branches of IIT in the country, have a body of qualified people collate everything and publish the grand results - which will be so robust and spectacular, make sure it is so loud that its not just heard in academic journals, but also prime time news and pop culture and everywhere, then no Ajanta/ Bajanta can ever dare to claim otherwise.
    - SOLIDIFY : in the process, team up with artists, performers, creatives to come up with catchy themes to call the bluff of the cabal and promote the truth that you substantiated with facts. create grafiti, t-shirts, themes, parties, pop culture, songs, theatre productions and what not so you join the rest of the world/ society on your side.
    Now that's the style of an IIT'an. AM I WRONG ?
    I think something like this will keep the genius, Rishi, Guru Sri Rajiv Malhotraji at peace that you are doing something substantive. Please do something IIT'ans!! for the love of the beautiful campuses and such creative lot of people in there.

    Similar ideological projections were done by poets like Vyas, Valmiki and Tulsi, who misinterpreted much older tales of Ramayan, Mahbharat which are from mixed memories spanning centuries hence inaccurate. Many Hindu parents, groups wrongly teach Hindu youth that these texts are 'dharma'. They are historic dharmik fiction with wrong conclusions that discourage youth who rightly question why Ram abandoned Sita etc. Then they get put off and become vulnerable to anti Hindu ideas.
    Eg: Sita cannot be helpless wife blindly following husband. Because Dhanurved says all varnas, including ladies, fought with mantra shakti. This is only possible with correct education,training.
    In Tretayuga, Dwaparyuga people were identified by professions, which were not surnames. Hence, Sita, Draupadi, Kaikeyi, Gandhari and their female associates are warriors. Ksatriyas meant officer class. Doing tapa in vana was norm for all. Especially chakravarti who would lead, be raja, of such tapasvi societies. Hence not exile by evil step mother. Important decisions by heads of state are not taken on whims.
    Rigveda says Sita is prithvi devi, Draupadi is prosperity. Both are not human. Ancients personified concepts when writing literature, even in upanishads. Ramayan is tale of manipura and surya bija mantra. All including Ravan and team are tapasvis intracting with divine.(Ram)
    Ram and Krishna are paranormal experiences, psychic truths. Vanara are not literally monkeys. Sabari, Ekalavya are not poor tribals living in jungle and so on. Sabari is probably leader of Sabar mantra practitioners. Nature, fruits, trees like Panchavati enhance spirituality, have ayurvedic uses. Hence Sabari offers sweet fruit which could be metaphor for good karmas.
    Please read my essays online for free for further clarifications. Let us educate and empower our youth and not parrot superstitious nonsense of past. 🙏

  • @parjanyashukla176
    @parjanyashukla176 ปีที่แล้ว

    Well it seems that the IITs were created by Western powers to create a technical labour class out of India's most talented students. That's why the IITs don't seem to have very significant acceptance in the Indian society, nor do bureaucrats (civil officers) or politicians (of any party) care about IITs. Nor do the IITs have any real vision for technologies of the future - renewable energy, sustainable solutions, water management, etc. Nor are the IITs civilizationally rooted in Indic thought process - most of the humanities courses have the nonsense of early modern European philosophers.
    It's alumni, which would probably be the most intelligent lot on the damn planet, are yet slave-minded and not original thinkers. Mostly interested in earning money, awards and recognition, but almost nothing at a community/national level. Its professors are interested in harassing and bullying students with academic workload, getting their name printed on research papers, but they too see it as a "job" and don't possess any willpower to design and deliver an Indic vision on science and technology. But they definitely have the talent and ability to do so, still they don't.
    The Indian state is fundamentally colonial in character and it remained that way even after 1947. Europe, US, and USSR/Russia manipulated it the way they wanted it, but the country as a whole has no vision.
