Where can I find a video on adding sashing with batting ( to enlarge the quilt size) . My blocks are all embroidered with batting and backing already .
For me it’s easier just sewing the top layer only. Not the batting. Then I butt the batting, trim, whip stitch batting and do back fabric foldinn to stitch line.. works great.
I think this is a good video for someone who knows what they are doing. However, I was kind of disappointed because In the beginning of the video you said "I'm going to show you .how to do that." I misinterpreted what you meant by that. I realized, after watching, you meant you were going to tell us how you did it. I consider myself an experience beginner embroiderer and a very visual learner so I guess this will make more sense once I reach that part of the learning curve. Regardless, I appreciate you taking the time to make this video.
Registration has to do with things lining up and matching without any gaps. It's pretty hard to do a video short enough to cover all the things pertinent to the project while also covering all the lingo and steps for someone is brand new to embroidery or quilting.
Thank you; you have inspired me to 'have a go'.
Looks really easy, great tuit! Thanks for sharing it with us!!
Great tutorial Lindee, thanks!

What type and size needle is best for quilting in-the-hoop? Do you need to change it from the regular 75/11 embroidery needle?
Good question. I didn't think to change for quilting.I just used a 75/11 embroidery needle.
LindeeGVideos Great, what I hoped hehe, thanks Lindee!

Registration? No clue what you’re talking about much of the time.
