Hi I am very sad to see this video as our sacred mountain is looking like decimated ,charred slopes. For our Meitei community, this is a sacred pilgrimage spot from very time immemorial.
I don't know so much about the tribal people settling around there. They have to respect specefically this site. Now , I am watching it online from Maldives where I am based for the last 22 years and I usually don't watch any youtube videos except for western music as my hobby is playing on acoustic guitar. Suddenly , I feel very sad to watch this video as if it looks like a charred hilltops after Napalm bombing of Vietnam during the Vietnam war.
This mountain top always was a grassland and it still is. Just because you go there for the first time and see no tree, don't use your rotten brain to jump to the conclusion of your desire. And for your information, grasslands are even more beneficial for biodiversity. I am not saying, science says. Leave the grassland as it it. You can also see that it is rocky.
