69 Charger RT/SE 440HP here at the track 22 years ago beat by snowmobiles! now in restoration PLUS a 71' Challenger throwing flames off the tires HERE, BRO!! /w\ Heavy Metal /w\
great looking 68, but the bee stripes on the back are not correct. not to take anything from this wonderful example of a 68. And the fact that i live in akron, and am in the market for a 68 charger rt kinda breaks my heart. what did she end up selling for?
+Balisong005 Would you be interested in my 68 Charger (RT Clone) 440 bored out to 512 cui, 10.5 to 1 compression with aluminum stealth heads so you can run 91 octane, 4 speed, Demon 859 carb, ceramic coated headers that are port matched, wilwood 12.5 brakes on all four corners, subframe connectors. Balisong005 You're right about the bee stripes... which i've never been a fan of no matter how correct.. always prefer them restored with solid clean paint.. especially color code GG-1!
Why didn't they remake the new one like that? It could have been the same shape but updated everything instead of a Charger that looks nothing like a Charger
My first new car was a 1969 Dodge Charger,Copper with a Tan vinyl top.
Wow that's the sexiest 68' charger I have ever seen! Best body lines to ever come out of detroit!
That sound at 5:10 is vibrating music just as a symphony of Mozart.

@@alexarcadia7289 -The stripes look like they come of a 69 R/T Charger...

Agreed!
Gotta have A/C! In Florida.
Sweet jesus
Engine sound comes at 422 😀
How could Dodge go from this to the horrible 1975 Charger in just a few years?
Look at the American auto industry as a whole from mid 70s till early 00s mostly ugly shit with a few exceptions
How could they name these newer 4 door pos's a charger. ?
I can't help but notice It's not painted black
Really nice mopar but wrong stripe thats a 69 stripe
I love it, but when they idle they do sound like hail stones on a tin roof, or a bowling alley.
HERESY!
The antenna looks out of place.
Sure does.
no vinyl...yes, could do without the stripe too even if was the correct one, auto, meh! nice though
