Tbh I don't know about the wilber stuff. Because it could be similar to for eg. I have touretts so he might physically not be able to control it which is what he said. And from experience when it is brought up it gets worse so it might not be his fault

Me and my friends are working on an animated series that is based off the dream smp. The server might be gone, and so might some of its members but we've no intention of scrapping the project. This server was an inspiration to us all, and so were its members. I feel like it deserves to be remembered as such. (Maybe not so much some of its members but yknow

Something that ticked me off was something that happened on Twitter with Tubbo. A random user AI generated allegations against him which was completely fake. And the user claimed it was a social expirement.

What happened with Wilbur Soot is sad. There currently allegations and while he did kinda address what Shelby was saying he didn't fully put out an actual apology. And everyone but possibly Tommyinnit and Ph1lza have abandoned him. Even Dream . Idk what'll happen to him in the future but it's not looking good!
Things sure did went downhill since Technoblade died.
Also Sapnap seems to be the Boring one of the group. He was always kinda seen as the 3rd wheel next to Dream and George.

I mean, Phil did say he's supporting Shelby and had actually changed the Outro to Garbage Day. He doesn't want to talk about it, legal reasoning on hand too as well he has no comment to say about Sorry Boys because that's still a legal situation as well. He even changed Lullah's emote to be black-haired version than brown haired too.
I honestly don't see Tommy being friendly with Wilbur either. Haven't seen them together as often lately too and he doesn't seem to be the type that's willing to stand beside someone who was supposed to support, not harm and respect their partner but never did that.
It makes sense tho that Phil and tommy are struggling with this info. They were basically best friends with Wilbur and it must hurt when everything changes
I believe that Dream did not abandon Wilbur because he was the one that was abandoned by pratically everyone that was previously in the smp that wasn't friends with him before, people like tommy, wilbur, phil, ranboo and others, i think Dream truly believes what Shelby is accusing Wilbur of, perhaps he has more information or maybe there's a lawsuit going on that we don't know. That Wilbur is kinda of a 'menace' for being the bitting monster is practically confirmed but to bindly believe what Shelby is alleging(Basically saying that the bitting is physical assault) is kinda of stupid in my opinion, she doesn't provide any proof, like, not one single photo of any of the numerous bites Wilbur must have biteen? Unless critical information wasn't released for some reason the situation in sketchy

jschlatt and Techno were my favorite DSMP members. Schlatt had an amazing reputation even before the SMP, and he still manages to stay relevant and funny.
And Techno...he was the nost effortlessly funny guy. He gave every DSMP stream the comedy it needed. I still miss his voice. R.I.P. Blood God.
personally George's situation could've been handled privately without the internet getting involved. not saying that what caiti felt was not valid. but the constant info mix up that happened just made the situation worse.

Damn, I was never involved with the dream SMP but it’s still sad to know that a huge ammount of these creators have one way or another fallen out of the limelight. I think most of these guys were too young to know fully how to handle fame. Reminiscent of people like skydoesminecraft or even stampty. It does genuinely dishearten me a little bit whenever once thriving communities fall apart.

Despite the fact that it is not out of the question that Caiti bugz could be lying about her situation with Georgenotfound, from what I’ve seen of the situation all the evidence provided by both main parties involved seems mostly circumstantial. A lot of what they both have said corroborates each others respective stories, with some obviously differing opinions of what happened that night. It seems as though there are holes in both of their stories, so it really can’t be determined who is lying and who is telling the truth. I think the best course of action for this situation is to be wary of both sides of the argument, as up to this point most of what evidence would be seen as incriminating towards George or that would disprove Caiti’s allegations is hearsay.
He is guilty. He admitted to touching and her not it's up to guesses how far it really went since she was bullied off Twitter. Yes they were both drunk but she was a minor. There should have been steps taken to assure everyone no one drank underage. George is lucky he's not in prison or dead for assaulting a woman.

As the king of audio mixing, what you should've done was made the music in the background substantially lower so that we can hear your voice a lot better. That doesn't mean remove it entirely, just make it lower to the point where we can hear, but we won't be inclined to focus on it.

Mildly unrelated, but I think to prevent false allegations against people the person making the false claims should be punished with the same punishment the person they accused would have gotten. There’s probably a lot of “what ifs” and holes in this but that’s the best way I can word it.
Please look at the already low rate of people reporting SA and rape compared to the abysmally small rate of false reports, and then sit in the corner and be ashamed. Thanks.
Just because something can’t be proved, it doesn’t mean it never happened. Punishing accusers would probably prevent some false accusations, but would mainly hurt victims as they wouldn’t report the things happening to them out of fear of not being taken seriously, and subsequently being punished themselves for speaking up. In an attempt to stop injustice against the few (the falsely accused), it would ironically prevent justice for the masses (those who are already victims).
Keep in mind to think critically about your suggestions and view them from multiple directions, because right now your thought does not take the consequences that victims would face into account

Any lawyer worth his salt would be able to get George's case thrown out or even turned completely around in a countersuit. All that's needed is the clip of him admitting to touching her and admitting he knew she was drunk. Legally the rest is irrelevant depending on jurisdiction.
And thats why the only MCYT i watch anymore is ranboo, tubbo, charlie, and tommy, their the most responsible (imo) on this platform. (Dear god if this ages badly i WILL be jumping out a window.)

This is honestly the kind of comment thread I've been looking for and I totally agree. For a while I've been thinking 'Forgive but never forget', but I feel like that's a bit underwhelming. I also agree that there isn't enough proof, but that being said, I don't want to dismiss the possibility, especially if it means silencing victims.

One of the only Minecraft TH-camrs I’ve kept an eye on is Sapnap. He’s genuinely one of the coolest people I’ve watched and someone who cares about his audience.
I always checked up on all of them and I'm happy to see someone letting other people know :)

Dream is one of the few TH-camrs who manages to make a well depth, well explained and addressed apology/debunking video to clear his name, it's honestly sad to see that many people still don't believe him, especially on other platforms like Twitter and Instagram. Goes to show that even if someone admits and goes as far as to delete their account where they made fake allegations, people will always hate on people they hate, even just a little bit.
On the side note, Tubbo has been doing fine for himself, I've seen him appear on some streams most recently being the BlockWars tournament(don't really watch Tubbo).
I dont know how consistent the other members upload but its good to see Tommy still thriving. Antfrost, like Sapnap, just doesn't seem to put themselves in drama much so I don't think Antfrost will be under twitter's fire anytime soon.
