I really appreciate you all discussing witchcraft in your everyday culture of movies, music, and lifestyle, but definitely appreciate reading the word of God,to shine His light about the sin of witchcraft. God bless you all 🙏

There is a show called the vampire diaries that I watched years ago and it had a spin off show called The Originals. Both great “acting” and both had witchcraft stuff in them. The former it seemed fake-the witchcraft. However! The spin off show was real. I had a dream about it years ago and God showed me in the dream that the spells were real. Recently the show runner of the originals admitted she used real spells she found on the internet. She said actual witches from New Orleans (where the show was filmed) got in touch with her and asked her if she knew what she was doing. They told her she was putting curses in everyone’s homes that watched the show because the spells she used were real. That was after season one. The show runner admitted thinking it was cool and she further amplified the number of spells used thinking it would help the show be popular. She didn’t care that it was cursing people. That show lasted for 5 seasons. She was ignorant and then warned and still chose to do that to people and the actors who probably didn’t realize what they were doing. She kept the secret until she did that panel discussion. I repented and renounced everything because I watched all 5 seasons unaware. I saw the Agatha preview and it felt funny so I didn’t watch it. I can tell on some movies that something is way wrong with it but if all acting is based on wiccan practices then all of television may be tainted. I recall the episode about Taraji that you had and she admitted what she had to do to get in character. I have heard Vin Diesel say it as well. It clearly is an invoking of something. Don’t forget to ask forgiveness daily because we don’t know what is what. Thanks for sharing.

I remember watching Vampire Diaries and the Originals years ago. Then God opened my eyes while I watching an episode. God let me come to the realization that it was legitimate witchcraft. I immediately shut it off and never watched an episode again. Reading this though made me realize I never renounced and rebuked it. I did that immediately after reading this
Thanks for writing this comment! It's crazy how we can let things in without realizing it.

I love Marvel. I’ve seen every movie and show in the MCU and most outside of it as well.
When I saw WandaVision I was like “…okaaaay.”
When I saw Dr. Strange 2, I was like “aight, this is too much.”
When I saw the trailer for Agatha I already knew I had to skip this one. This is all the confirmation I need.

This is such a sorely needed perspective in the CHH community. Y’all put it perfectly! (I wrote a book here and I’m sorry but I can’t bring myself to cut anything out. This is a huge convo to me personally lol) As a person who feels called to answer the Lord’s Great Commission via Gospel Rap, Worship music, fashion etc. I have been on a journey of consecration to God to allow Him to purify my hands, my creative process, mind and mindset, and my heart motives prior to releasing music to the world because I know the power of influence and that music is like a medium for the realm of the spirit, and if there was iniquity and sin that had dominion over me it can transfer if I’m not at a level of deliverance and consecration to be trusted with the influence over thousands of people. The “Blind Witch” effect essentially. But by the Grace of God I am at a point where the Lord has confirmed to me that I’m ready after several years of submitting to the process to begin diving into creating and releasing music. Because y’all have such a rich wisdom in this area and are also tapped into CHH and the music industry, and I know a component of the purpose of my music is to infiltrate what the enemy has infiltrated; How do y’all think Christian artists (not just me) can combat the enemy and his tactics, seeing as how this music is gripping millions with these covert spells and demonic influences, and could we actually do something impactful enough to turn the tide of the current generation’s music/entertainment influence and facilitate or even just contribute to sparking widespread revival? That is what God’s placed on my heart. I guess the broader question is, do yall think entertainment and music has to go the way it is going to fulfill end time prophecy or like poise us for the end(the antichrist agenda being introduced etc) or could we see it turn and see salvation and revival come to the industry? Again I know this was loaded but for me, this subject is filled with burning questions 😂

As Christ Followers, we don't have to be afraid or worry about the enemy's schemes. However, we must be alert and recognize what the enemy is doing. We must use wisdom anytime we view or listen to any entertainment. However, there is nothing new under the sun. Holy Spirit will protect us and warn us even when we are acting like dumb sheeps getting caught in some mess. This scripture is important to remember during spiritual warfare: Ephesians 6:10-18.

I have been wanting to give up all music. I LOVEE music. Particularly love songs from the 70s, 80s, & 90s. I’ve been listening to it since I was a child. I am just drawn to it! I was listening to Kelly price and singing it to the top of my lungs & felt convicted bc she was confessing to being cheated on, being too fat, ugly, or someone was always taking her man. Chileee, at that moment I knew I had to do something about this. Not only have I renounced and denounce every foul thing that I said upon my self, but at the start of the new year, I’m going music free. All of it! Even gospel!

As I have grown in Christ and begun to see the world and how it operates more clearly, I have come to understand and believe that ppl I usesd to scoff at for calling out the satanisim in music and disregard as Christian fanatics were not wrong. The saturation and entwining of popular music and the occult is horrific and disturbing. Only Christ can set us free and open our eyes to the truth, which is usually unpleasant.

I don’t listen to worldly music nor do I listen to all “gospel” music or gospel “artists”.
Again, y’all don’t know WHO is making these masters, nor what they believe in. Y’all are talking about this subject and STILL going to listen to hip-hop??? What does it take for you to learn the lesson? Strict churches have it RIGHT… Y’all are the ones that have to catch up.
Why do I say this? Because even strict churches believe that women should look and dress modest… what do worldly men want? A modest woman.
So all the true, strict believers… KEEP ON KEEPING ON… they told us “Y’all don’t much. It ain’t that deep. It ain’t that serious. Y’all so judgmental. Y’all so heavily high that y’all no earthly good.”
I guess Jesus and John the Baptist was all these things as well. But we’re suppose to be like Jesus… SMH… this is why the world is soooo against the church… because we true hypocrites and willfully ignorant. If you filthy, stay filthy.. if you saved, stay saved… don’t let these loose believing folks get you caught up believing listening to hip-hop and all that other stuff is okay. A friend of the world is at enmity with God. Believe the scriptures, not the world. ALL SCRIPTURES MATTER!!!

Jk Rowling said she was in a state of depression when she started writing harry potter. She said she was on a subway train and the whole story just flooded into her. Clearly a demonic presence gave it to her. I have never read the books just seen the movies and God told me not to watch them again because they are real. I worked with a girl once that was a fan of the books and she said the books have so much detail you feel like you actually are there. It’s like the lord of the rings. I know they said jr Tolkien was saved but I don’t know. He wrote Lord of the rings when he was in the trenches of WWII I think and he admitted being depressed. He said the story just came to him too while in the middle of a war.

Fair point, but should we be too quick to condemn something as witchcraft? Accused of being evil, traitor, racist, sexist, other-ist. Lots of ppl like to accuse. Why do people say men, women, etc. have to act a certain way? If a man wants to wear a dress, if a woman wants to wear 'masculine' clothes, why not encourage them to explore what makes them more joyful+comfortable? If we want ppl to be more generous toward christian causes, why not lend some acceptance+empathy?
Why is it specific racial/ethnic groups are told, x can't do this? Some are trying to ban even books on different cultures, different lifestyles(including LGBT, disabilities, etc.) What's wrong w/ wanting to learn? We want a more educated nation.
