Its 2024. I love this track so much. The bass, both guitars, drums, everything is spot on. Each time i listen i pick something else out that I didn't hear before.
No auto-tune, it's just level corrected but that doesn't affect pitch. Also they usually have IEM's on stage so they can check themselves. It's probably because most stage performances come during tours and over a period of a month of two of singing the way he does every night his voice starts to go, also not having to jump around a stage helps.
It's amazing how good AG is at singing in a situation where he doesn't have to jump around like a maniac. He makes it work live but this is just next level. This whole song almost perfect in one take? That's fucking next level.
Still my favorite song from them. It’s just a perfect rock song. Beautiful guitar lines, strong rhythm section and an amazing vocal and lyrical performance.
It must have been so hard to hold composure knowing you are absolutely killing it - those intertwining guitar riffs are perfection - Bass and Drums so tight, not a note out of place.... That Bass lead in at 2:04 - so Good, frustratingly better than the album version - shame its not better audio quality on the upload.
Only other band that ever came close to this ethereal kinda floating sound, was some of the older Emarosa stuff, off their self-titled album. Glass Arrows 🏹 is a masterfully written song for the genre. Easily a top 20 song.
MySpace always was the home for music in my opinion. Anthony green has to be the few vocalists that I can say has a unique voice. He must’ve worked hard on that range

@jontheliar could be any other pedal with loop function, but circa uses a Line 6 PODHD500 to record and track guitars. they used it for blue sky noise. but i'm not sure if he is using it in this video
Kurt isn't the best live but he's an amazing songwriter for sure, his solo work clearly shows that, and his vocal melodies are always interesting, he never does the same thing.
i'm ashamed to say... I thought the vocalist on this song was female, lol. Just didn't even give it a thought. What a mind**** it was to see this video, lol. GREAT voice and song though :)
+Adhitthana I felt the same initially. A bit of an acquired taste, understandably! Regardless, the guy understands how to formulate an unforgettable vocal hook !
anybody know how they are doing that loop in the background? what kind of pedal? is one of the guitarists doing it? never heard that on the album...starts at 4 seconds
+João Lucas Da Mota Rodrigues Classically trained vocalist, here: Anthony Green is a master of using his "false chords," which is sort of like "belting" except that it uses your head voice (also known as nasally or "falsetto") to channel the "scream" instead of your throat (which is how you fuck up your voice). In other words, there is a right way to scream and a wrong way and A.G. does it the right way.
@mikeshinoda @LinkinPark If there is another benefit concert or anniversary tour in the future, Anthony Green should be considered, first for a jam session and see how it goes. He has splendid vocal technique, vocal range, a very particular voice, incredible talent, stage presence and charisma.
2023 checking in. The dopest
late 2024 check in. still dangerously dope
2020 check in...... yup still dope .

23 still incredible
They are truly a legendary band and an eternally original sound.
@@ZoneTwelveOnline I know all of those bands and none of them have the Circa vibe dude lol
Anthony's voice is the wind hazing through the bends of a crystalline lake. Absolute Norse Spirit god
Nick is so good with the backing vocals
2024 checking in. YEP STILL DOPE!!
2024 Circa Survive forever
I can always count on this band to take me to another place. Real magic.
Sickest voice ever.
Agreed
JaMc I wish he still sound like this
Its 2024. I love this track so much. The bass, both guitars, drums, everything is spot on. Each time i listen i pick something else out that I didn't hear before.
Anthony sounds noticeably on point here. Most live clips he's kinda off, but here he sounds the same if not better than the record.
Probably 'cause studio-like sessions are more "refined" than the pressures n live performances. This vid is superb by the way.
i think its because he wears himself out alot on stage and the out-of-breath-ness causes him to be a little flatter
+Jimothy Meyers its because in this mix there is clearly auto-tune being used to correct his pitch mistakes.
He's wearing headphones, he can probably hear himself to self-correct immediately.

this has to be the most spot on live performance I've ever seen. almost had me wondering if its really live 😂
Me too. The vocals are so good!
The new Hexes performance by Tesseract is also live in session and utterly impressive!
CAN YOU RECOMMENT OTHER BANDS THAT U THINK ARE AS GOOD AT THIS DUDES IN THIS SESSIONS?
@@ricardoaldecoa7522 minus the bear
Well, at least myspace was good for something!
rip Mr. Tom, my first dear friend!
Myspace was better than the invasive shit we have now...?
Production/mixing is soooo good

2021 check in: still amazing 🙌🏾
Solid drumming
cerealously
Lildrummerboy714 dude yeah!!
I wish I could see these guys live. I remember when they came out with there first studio album Juturna and it changed my life.
How can someone have perfect voice like this.
*_How._*
I still listen to this in 2019
I will never stop coming back to this
Still my favorite song from them. It’s just a perfect rock song. Beautiful guitar lines, strong rhythm section and an amazing vocal and lyrical performance.
Best fucking singer ever
I miss this band. Best band ever. Together they are so magic, nothing like it
2023 and still going hard
It must have been so hard to hold composure knowing you are absolutely killing it - those intertwining guitar riffs are perfection - Bass and Drums so tight, not a note out of place.... This performance gives me goosebumps

starting off 2020 the correct way with some circa :P
2023 still disappearing from public places. How long has it been?
Still here
one of the best songs ever made
Still here in 2020 ! Circa is great !
MySpace always was the home for music in my opinion. Anthony green has to be the few vocalists that I can say has a unique voice.
He must’ve worked hard on that range
This performance is flawless.
2025 still just as dope
Having this song as part of my wedding ceremony.
i crowd surf to the front and grabbed his hand. totally jizzed
Holy crap.... I'm so excited to see Circa in Melbourne!
Still mesmerized
Goosebumps at 2:21

gotta give credit to the whole band not just Anthony though!

I think the AOL sessions they did was amazing
2023 🔥🔥🔥
Fucking magical. Just too damn good.
Anthony green is what Kurt travis, jonny craig, and tilian all wish they could be
You're tripping by throwing Kurt in there. He's definitely an amazing musician and song writer in a way different way. Different tool boxes.
agreeing with you jimi kurt is different i listen to both. but i do not see them as the same kind of music.
well then according to that logic Will Swan is what Brendan and Colin wish they could be
Kurt isn't the best live but he's an amazing songwriter for sure, his solo work clearly shows that, and his vocal melodies are always interesting, he never does the same thing.
so weird after coming out of a recent DGD binge, them and Circa play so well to and from album to album
2025 still dope
The guitars sound like laser beams when During the “I DONT WANT EXCUSES, I DONT WANT APOLOGIES”
I wish they just did their albums like this
Agreed. Perfect raw but organized and clean sound.

Que pedazo de canción.
i Wonder what anthony sees when he closes his eyes. :o
2:37 tho
Unreal
Can we get Circa on an audiotree?? Fuck man. So good.
Fucking pro.
Love this instrumentally, not sure how I feel about the vocals, maybe they'll grow on me.
+Adhitthana I felt the same initially. A bit of an acquired taste, understandably! Regardless, the guy understands how to formulate an unforgettable vocal hook !
he make singing look painful.
+Matt Ross he makes it sound fucking sick though, so who's counting?
The song is painful lyrically.

2021
anybody know how they are doing that loop in the background? what kind of pedal? is one of the guitarists doing it? never heard that on the album...starts at 4 seconds
I know I'm 7 years late, but I'm guessing it's a synth sound.
The only thing I hate about this. The guitarist on our right is barely in the shot.
2025 check in. (:
Yeah the album i listen to all gone deym anyone knows what hap?
hey @concept9221 you able to upload the hd version? fucking awesome man.. thanks for uploading this in 2010
what kind of mics are they singing through?
Man, his screams may fuck up with his voice...
+João Lucas Da Mota Rodrigues I think he's completely fine considering his voice got through The sounds of anime fighting safely.

😂 No.
im goinng to give this a thumbs down cause there discriminating against the drummer sticking him in a jail cell like thing
an Elimination Chamber pod, maybe
Can't have the sound of the drums leaking into the mics outside
dude anthony green looks like keith moon kinda
id say live even sounds better ^-^
I use to dislike circa survive... Till I took a glass arrow to the knee

💀💀💀
He looks weird with short hair.
+Greg Quady Hes had pretty short hair for years now
When I saw them in 2010, he had relatively long hair. Haven't really seen a picture of him since because I kinda forgot about him/this band.
+Greg Quady LOOK AT THE SIZE OF HIS NECK... IT'S AS THICK AS MY TORSO
