The construction work of the expressway between Lucknow and Kanpur is going to start from October 30. The machines and staff of the construction companies have reached before the start of the construction work. The work of expressway will start on the green field from Unnao to Lucknow. About 63 km in two and a half years. The goal is to build a long expressway. With the construction of this expressway, the journey from Kanpur to Lucknow will be completed in just 40 to 45 days. Also, this expressway will be of six lanes.
The current route for going from Kanpur to Lucknow, and from Lucknow to Kanpur will also continue as before. The public will have two options to go to Kanpur and Lucknow. With two routes, there will be diversion of traffic, due to which the situation of jam will also end and vehicles will also be able to pick up speed.
For the first time in the construction of the expressway between Kanpur and Lucknow, the model of 3D engineered technology will be used. In this, the road surface of the expressway will be prepared at zero error. This surface shall be such that at whatever speed the vehicle moves, even water will not be reflected from the glass placed in it. The entire road will be built with zero water level standard.
Let us tell you that 3D technology will be used in the construction of Lucknow-Kanpur Expressway. In the construction of the road under the 3D model, after the length, width and thickness of the road, the instructions will be given to the machines from the computer on the cutting of the edges at 90 degrees. Due to this, any kind of defect will not be visible anywhere in the road. With this technology, roads are being built in Germany-USA. This technology speeds up the construction and 100% of the construction material can be used. There is no wastage in it.
The Project Director of NHAI agreed that hi-tech technology would be used to complete the construction of the expressway in December 2025. The road surface on both sides will be the same with eight lanes at zero error.
3D cameras will be installed at toll plazas. Vehicles of political parties passing through toll plazas will be monitored through these cameras. If the vehicle of any party other than the monthly pass removes other vehicles, then it will have to pay the toll through FASTag itself. The toll plaza management will have to report these cameras every day to the local police as well as the administration. If there is a violation of the code of conduct, first notice will be given and then action will be directed. NHAI has asked to start separate FASTag counters at all toll plazas from Monday so that people of local districts can easily commute on the highway and do not have to pay double the toll.

About 13 km of road will be elevated from Amausi to Bani.
The expressway will pass through 31 villages of Unnao and 11 villages of Lucknow.
