Pray the Rosary DAILY,, for the conversion of priests and your family. The Holy Virgin requests this prayer in every approved apparition. To be the ONLY Catholic in a family has become common these days. You have a companion in your faith, a son. I am the ONLY one from a large family and I know it is difficult. Prayer for their souls is all you can do for your family and as for "hurting", let it go, ask the Lord for detachment. Many of my family are on the path to hell so I persevere in prayer and detached from them years ago.

@Montse Majan Martinez Although you have a point, the homily very correctly identified what St. Margaret Mary is known for. St Gertrude is more known for the prayer to release the holy souls from purgatory and St. Mechtilde is known for the Three Hail Marys prayer.

SHE didn't make the vow, her parents and her whole family did. Her mother, after their family situation was restored, wanted to go back on the vow they had all made to God regarding Margaret's future. Margaret protested, but out of obedience and respect, saw suitors (she only dressed up to "go out" once in her life and always regretted it), all the whole wanting to remain faithful to her vow but her mom not wanting to and the devil tempting her. Finally, God sent a holy priest who shamed the mom and Margaret's older brother into cooperating with the promise they had made.

It's ironic that you reference St John the Baptist in your youtube name. He surely submitted to the suffering sent his way. No offense, but the saints know more than you or I. So I believe St Mary Margarett and the gospels over what you say.

St Margaret Mary Alacoque the AUTHENTIC Humble Saint of The TRUE Sacred Heart of Jesus & His Divine Mercy! (NOT the fraudulent Faustina)
Exactly. Faustina spoke extensively about "her holiness" in a 600 plus page biography. The fact that it was suppressed for years and reinstated by JPII makes it suspect on its face.
Faustina was not fraudulent. Her diary was initially translated incorrectly,in a way that misrepresented her. She suffered greatly and from reading her diary I know she was a most humble soul and full of self doubt. I would recommend to all to read her diary. God bless.

@@monnieholmes7113 Forgive yourself for emotionalism. Faustina may have been a good nun, however, her book and the Divine Mercy devotion were banned for decades. There must have been some good reasons for the Holy Office to do so. JPII committed PUBLIC acts of heresy and blasphemy: kissing the Koran, praying with demonic voodoo priests, having the sign of a Hindu god painted on his forehead whilst he sat in a phallus-shaped chair, covering the Crucifix in deference to Jews whilst praying with them in a Vatican Church and more. I don't "destroy" anything, that's absurd. I simply pointed out valid, reasoned questions about both Faustina and JPII. Saints have been de-canonized before. Look it up. Also under JPII, the canonization process was dumbed down and speeded up: one miracle required instead of three and the REMOVAL of the devil's advocate. Many faithful Catholics find this disturbing and suspect. It always took DECADES to canonize a person prior to the dubious novelties of Modernist popes.
