Good morning, and thank you! We have been so lucky at Black Lake for the past few years! We used to camp at Camp Carol almost 15-20 years ago and the North end we know quite a bit...spots have been shifting where you catch fish and stinky rock has been a beast! I watched a few of your videos from black lake this morning! awesome! love it when people share and explore! great fishing and best wishes this year!
Great job guys! Always good to see a father and son do well together. Amazing memorie you both can cherish forever and no 1 can take away that victory from you two! Thanks for sharing the great day with us!!!
thank you so much! Appreciate the support! It's been so fun fishing with my dad these last few years! We have had some amazing experiences together! Tupper Lake last year was one of the best memories fishing ever!
One of my favorite places to go! When I go however our Target species is crappie. We get one virtually every cast at fish Creek. Also the Indian River and Rossi are great for crappie!
👍 awesome! we haven't really targeted crappy there in the summer - winter, we fish by rollway bay and have great luck!! Thanks for watching and support! Good fishing!
no problem! anytime! best of luck! A good place for you to fish is Red Lake in Redwood! Fish near the launch to the right out a bit and to the left (near where the channel of the river comes in)...you should catch some nice bass and pike there! @@Matt-uz9mq
Morning! Thanks for watching and yes, one of my favorites too. We used to camp at Camp Carell on the end we fished for years. I remember the first time we camped there - oh my, probably 15-20 yrs ago and we absolutely hammered the fishing and we have been hooked ever since.
This was sick. Was awesome watching this as I fished most of these spots last year my first time being at black lake, we call stinky rock sh!t rock. Going back in August! Try fishing the north side of the land bridge, right alongside the pipes and the rocks is incredible. I caught 3 hogs in 3 casts and a ton of keepers.
🙏 thank you so much! Appreciate your support and comment! My dad and I had one hell of a day! That rock is definitely sh*t rock! hahahhaha nice one! Good luck fishing in August - send me some pics along the way this year as you fish...email drlukedaduke@gmail.com I will check out those pipes and rocks...interesting!! ty for the suggestion! You have other social media? would love to see pics, etc.
yooo! thank you so much for watching and commenting!! :-) appreciate it very much! Yes, the north end is great - right now is probably a lot of weeds...fish earlier in am or evening in the shallows probably...then during the day, probably fish slow in 10 feet weeds - if you can make it down to the river (or the entrance of the river where the bouys are - fish the outside of them!) I use googansquad.com/collections/worms-finesse lunker logs 5" and zoom horny toads! have fun and let me know how you did!
Used to fish the pike opener there with a crew that went every year. REALLY hate to see a nice lake get all that pressure from tournament fisherman. Def NOT GOOD for the fishery.
Good morning, and thanks for watching. I appreciate it. I want to let you know a few things: First, we release all the bass back into the water and rarely have any dead fish, and if we do, I take them home and eat them. I absolutely love bass. I usually fish for bass and will catch my limit, but when I tournament fish - all go back in the water. Second, I understand your point about having a lot of fishermen on the lake - we have seen this a lot in the past few years - we are a small club with typically less than 10 boats - so really, we are small compared to other clubs. The last point is about your last sentence...I will have to tell you that the fishing has gotten better for us over the years and I haven't seen anything to point that it is NOT GOOD for the fishery. I am in full contact with the DEC (region 6) and there is no research or data to prove that it is bad for the fishery (that I know of) - if you have any data to support this, I would gladly read it If you want to have further discussions, I am open to it...email me at drlukedaduke@gmail.com
Fantastic lunker bass. I can never catch a fish of "stinkie rock." What an incredible bag you guys brought in.

Are the waves crazy here? I’m from drum and wanna come up in my jon boat, but don’t know if it can handle it
No, not too bad at black lake. Make sure the weather is okay. Wind less than 10 mph and you should be okay.
@@drluketheduke1531appreciate it man
